As for the race, I think it was something like Kessel wouldn't give up the left lane and wouldnt rock paper scissor Yandle for it, so when Yandle tripped he tried ot pull Kessel down.

I'm not sure they were friends before, since I don't believe they have ever been on the same team. But people do become friends at things like this. So who knows.
I thought i heard on the broadcast they are good buddies off the ice (Yandle and Kessel) Also thought Lupul did a really good job repping the leafs this weekend, seems like a funny dude!

Came here to ask about the Yandle/Kessel thing. Seemed serious because Yandle didnt even crack a smile after. Thought he was legit mad.

Also, saw Elisha Cuthbert in the concourse yesterday. She had some guy blocking her group table to prevent fans from talking to her though

I wanted to get a pic with her

May be true, I didn't catch it, Yandle is from MA, so who knows.

I don't know what you were watching. They were chirping and laughing it up and it was caught on camera. That's all you need to know that it wasn't serious.

Kessel is good friends with Yandle and Suter. Any interaction between Kessel and Yandle was in good fun, particularly because they were on different teams.

The one thing I got out of watching the Allstar festivities this weekend was just how talented Joffrey Lupul truly is, acquiring him was almost like having a top 6 fwd fall into our laps. A total surprise that came out of nowhere.

yep, revelations like he has turned out to be are what turn franchises around. It was evident as soon as he started playing with Kessel he had the skill, size, and awareness to be a dominant player. He does the little things right and we couldnt have asked for a better type of player who goes to the net and can score in the variety of ways he can to just fall into our laps, as you said. I liked him before he got here but never imagined hed be this good this quickly.

To see him fulfill his potential and play everyday like a top line left-winger is just awesome to watch.

He's become one of my favorite players on the team, plays the game the way it should be played. Going to be interesting to see if we can ink him after his contract expires in 12-13. Agree these type of players just don't fall into your lap, franchise changers.
