malkin will end up with at least a point, most likely a goal. we need to shut down the back end and secondary scoring. staal and crosby are both out... we need lupul, phaneuf and kessel to come back and push the guys after a few days off. we won the other game vs. the pens this year.

It's going to be a tough one, but we have to start this stretch off with a nice solid win. Just ****ing win!

I would probably like CBC a lot better if it were Bob Cole calling the games instead of Jim ****ing Hughson's crew..

Hopefully we win this! I think we will, at least this game. Hopefully nab a point on the 2nd one too.

Slightly off-topic: Kessel's girlfriend (I think) was at the All Star Weekend, and is "ready to get back to TO". I'm bringing this up because she posted a great picture of Phil a few days ago that I just seen.

Haha, that has photoshop potential.

Gustavsson played fantastic against them last time, let's hope he can do it again.

Gus usually plays stellar against them, and we always have tight games against them.

Kule should know his former C by now?

Pittsburgh's torching the league right now. Gonna need some huge goaltending/defence performances to grab a single point out of the next two games.

The last three years we've done really well post all-star break as everyone knows, but we were almost out of the playoffs and played with a nothing to lose mentality

Hopefully Wilson and Co. can get the team to play the same, despite not having the same mentality as the past few years...hopefully because we're in a better position, we play even better than the past few yrs post all-star break

You cannot stop Evgeni Malkin, you can merely limit what he is allowed to do.

The pens are on a seven game winning streak, without the one n staal. This will be a dog fight if our boys decide to show up atleast, if not, absolutely no contest
