Boyce has played well. He deserves to be the 13th forward at least.

Kadri should be sent down to play big time minutes if he's going to be stuck to play 10-12 minutes.

Very much so.

But I think it should be crabb rather boyce.

John Michael Liles also on ice #Leafs.
Just saw this now. Thanks!

My best guess:

Lupul - Bozak - Kessel
MacA - Grabo - Kulemin
Lombo - Connolly - Kadri
Brown - Steckel - Army/Crabb/Boyce

Gunnar - Phaneuf
Liles - Franson
Gardiner - Schenn/Komi

Agreed. Wouldn't mind seeing us make a spot for Kadri soon. A move soon I hope.

4 of our next 5 games are against teams that are currently within 5 points of us in the east (next 5 games are Pens, Pens, Sens, Oilers, Jets). Incredibly important stretch for us, cleaning up over the next 5 games would go a LONG way towards securing a playoff spot for us.

Of the two, Armstrong more likely to return.

koshtorontosun Terry Koshan
#Leafs Don't expect to see Liles, Armstrong or Boyce tomorrow night in Pittsburgh. Gustavsson will start in goal

Well that's too bad. Guess the Pens better play clean since our PP may remain unproductive with Liles still out. Though gives a bit more time to figure out what to do with the roster.

Seems like there' no more doubt that Gustavsson is our #1 goaltender at this point.

There's no way to shutdown Malkin playing like he is, but we need to limit his chances. Phaneuf and Gunnarsson will have to have a good night against that top line. (I assume Phaneuf and Gunnarsson will be playing on a pair tomorrow)

I'm guessing this will be similar to when the Leafs played Washington and Wilson put Phaneuf vs. Ovechkin on pretty much every shift, hope Phaneuf can shut him down... Hoping for at least a 1-1 split against Pittsburgh and then hopefully a good stretch against the next 3 teams since they are pretty close to use in the standings...

Good for Kessel, Lupul and Phaneuf.

Maybe even one of these three can get SOME rest.

It's a big game comin up.

Did not look like they were exerting themselves much on the weekend.

Want to go this road? "It's a long road" like Rambo First Blood.

Of course they are mentally tired. It's the WHOLE event really. Interviews, standing up, waiting waiting waiting, the acting of it all. The game, skills, work, talk, waiting. Everything.

Some indivuals play like crap after the all star event. Some even make their game better. It's really a shame even some of our stars will be playing like ****in awful clowns after this useless spitiful all star event. But it doesn't matter, because Grabovski and others are rested and ready. You'll see tomorrow. It's going to be fun
