I really like my roster, I think I can play against anyone in the east. Solid 3 forward lines, solid top 4 D, one of the best if not the best goalie tandem, and many underrated players. I like my chances at making it to the Eastern Conference Finals.
Strengths
Wicked top 6 forwards and top 4 d-men
Loads of plumber type players in your bottom six
Weaknesses
Goaltending is average
Pretty bad partner for Komisarek in Aulie
What you need
Third line centre, Gaustad is more of a 4th liner.

what did you do to the ducks?!?!?!?!!?!?!?! What is this?
lol I came in here just for ***** and giggles. I don't know how this game works, but it looks like you managed to trade Getzlaf, Perry, Ryan, Hiller, and Fowler for total garbage.

Garbage? It's called a rebuild. And its not garbage. You should look at the updated roster which includes Johansson, Stafford, Kostitsyn, Ekman-Larsson, Johnson, Schneider, and 3 top 10 picks and then maybe you'll change your mind...
New Nashville roster. We replaced some pending UFA's with youth we felt were ready for NHL roster spots.
FORWARDS
Colin Wilson ($2.750m) / Jeff Carter ($5.273m) / Patrick Kane ($6.300m)
Martin Erat ($4.500m) / David Legwand ($4.500m) / Craig Smith ($0.715m)
Nick Foligno ($2.500m) / Mike Fisher ($4.200m) / Matt Halischuk ($0.712m)
Gabriel Bourque ($0.618m) / Jerred Smithson ($0.800m) / Jordin Tootoo ($1.250m)
DEFENSEMEN
Mark Streit ($4.100m) / Shea Weber ($7.000m)
Douglas Murray ($2.500m) / Jonathon Blum ($2.000m)
Roman Josi ($1.000m) / Kevin Klein ($1.350m)
Marc-Andre Gragnani ($1.500m)
GOALTENDERS
Pekka Rinne ($7.000m)
Anders Lindback ($1.500m)
I don't THINK there any holes. I think Streit will pair well with Weber, because it's not as if Streit is terrible defensively. He can easily put up 50-60 points on this team. Blum and Josi are an extra year developed, and paired with two great shutdown partners (Klein and Murray), we feel our defence is complete.
As for offense, Wilson and Smith are finally going to embrace their roles, giving us one of the most solid top 6's in the league in terms of chemistry, defensive play, skating and scoring ability. Where we really shine, however, is in our bottom 6, with 4 outstanding bottom sixes (Foligno and Fisher being great second liners on most teams) and the youth in Halischuk and Bourque. Goaltending... Yeah, excellent.
Ready to make a serious run at the Cup this year. We missed out last year, but we're better this time around.
I think we have improved the Columbus Roster from the previous year(s).
As a Leafs fan IRL, Lombardi should have no business as your number 1 centre. I'd put Johansen as your centre, and move Lombo to wing.
Strengths
Good defence
Good goaltending
Good bottom 6
Weaknesses
Pretty shallow at centre
Not a lot of top 6 talent outside of Johansen and Nash
Needs to add
Centres
Top end prospects
Overall
C. Probably still low in the West, but may have pulled ahead of some teams. Improving, but in kind of poor cap shape and should probably focus on getting more prospects in order to help your cap situation (At least, I think it's the cap that's a problem. The real life Jackets have a huge cap problem).
The 2012/13 Colorado Avalanche (as of right now...):
Gabriel Landeskog / Ryan O'Reilly / Alexander Radulov
Sam Gagner / Travis Zajac / Peter Mueller
Brandon Dubinsky / Bryan Little / Ales Hemsky
David Van Der Gulik / Jay McClement / Tim Jackman
Nicklas Grossman / Ryan Wilson
Dougie Hamilton / Johnny Boychuk
Jarden Cowen / Stefan Elliott
Semyon Varlamov / Ray Emery
What do you guys think? Think I have 3 very solid lines that are up there with the best in the league. Our 4th line is good as well, a very good shutdown group that can also score a little. My defense is very young but will grow as a group; I have a few offers out there to land me a stud top4 defenseman. I feel Varlamov is young and will only get better; while Emery is a very good backup.

Forwards: B+ You have three very solid lines; your 1st line is one of the best while your 2nd and 3rd lines might not be powerhouses but will score at a good rate.
Defense: B+ You defense is also very good, I like the Streit/Weber pairing. Blum will take another step forward this year too.
Goalies: A Doesn't get much better then Rinne as a starter. While Lindback is a good young backup.
Overall: A- You should make a deep run in the playoffs this season.
Kane - Burmistrov - X ( )
Collberg - Berglund - Wheeler
Antropov - Slater - Paille
X - Halpern - Glass
Doughty - Shattenkirk
Bogosian - Kubina
Stuart - Hannan
Pavelec
Niittymaki
Forwards: C+ Your forwards are a little weak right now and very young as well. Not sure if Collberg is ready for the NHL let alone a 2nd line role.
Defense: A You have one of the best D cores in the league; hard to get much better then Doughty, Shattenkirk and Bogosian.
Goalies: B- Not sure if Pavelec is a very good starter but Niittymaki is a fine backup.
Overall: B- You should miss the playoffs but are moving in the right direction and your young team will grow together.
