All Tarantino movies have perfect historical accuracy...

Since they take place in an alternate universe.

Jonah Hill in a Tarantino movie? Call me interested

Tarantino movies are politically correct?

I'm a little underwhelmed by the trailer to be honest.

I like Tarantino and I like everyone in the film. But that trailer is boring.

Should be a pretty good movie. I like QT and Leo, but don't care for Foxx at all. Trailer is cool but you guys are acting as if it is really special. Regardless, will go see it opening night/weekend.

I have no problem with it. It looks like a trailer for a Tarantino movie: it gives you an idea of the story and the potential but it doesn't spoil things, like most trailers do these days.

I think if the former part of your statement is true, there's probably a reason to be... optimistic (about something that isn't Prometheus). I know it's tough

Inglorious Basterds was a great film, arguably more "Pulp Fiction" than Pulp Fiction itself. Why is there hate for Tarantino all of a sudden?

This looks pretty good.

Why are you trying to force optimism on him?

I'm hoping for the best because I like Tarantino, but I agree that the trailer was boring. Not terrible or anything, but it doesn't really get you up for/be interested in the movie at all, IMO.

Did I try to force optimism? If it came across that way, I apologize. I simply said what I thought about the trailer... and yes, I made an offhanded remark about Takeo's (who, by the way, I completely respect (for as much as that counts on an internet board) and agree with pretty often) tendencies. I'm not trying to make anyone like the trailer

Maybe my comment was uncalled for.

But on an unrelated note, whoa, you used nested parenthesis'.

I'm not a Tarantino fan but I was still excited for this movie when it was first announced. After seeing the first two trailers, that excitement is almost all gone. I know it's his style but for some reason I thought Tarantino might go away from his different/dark style of humor for this movie. Unfortunately, that doesn't appear to be the case.

I remember when Sasha Baron Cohen was attached and thought "damn, that is ****ing awesome", and he eventually got replaced by Jonah Hill... made me then say, "that's lame...". Cast is still pretty awesome but I don't know, for some reason I just can't get too excited about this movie.

Hill isn't replacing Cohen, he's playing a completely different character. Cohen's part was pretty small and I think it was completely removed.

Just came back from Christmas showing. What a movie. Classic Tarantino.

Hats off to all three, Foxx, Waltz and especially Leo. I think Leo made the movie.

Kinda had a little guilt trip in the beginning about having used the n-word in my life, seeing how slaves were treated. The movie has some graphic imagery that might not be for the faint of heart.

Superb movie. Pretty much exactly what you expect from a Tarantino.

Looking forward to awards' season, Waltz was so good in it that he's going to be a player for Best Actor when it comes time for Oscar nominations. Foxx is too, but man was Waltz good. Every bit as awesome as Inglourious Basterds.

Also, Samuel L Jackson really steals some of Leo's thunder in this film as a supporting guy. I think Leo's going to get nominated based on him being Leo, but I think Jackson was better. He's haunting as a house slave who basically runs DiCaprio's plantation.

Too long, too uneven, but Waltz and DiCaprio have fun with their roles.

Really pleasantly surprised with the lack of racial backlash nonsense that i thought was going to be all over this film from critics. I honestly thought it was going to be more criticized than "Passion of the Christ"

Unfortunately it was not entirely immune from that.

Spike has made some movies I really like (and so has Quentin) but I don't agree with everything either of them has to say. And I doubt either one cares if I do or not.

I still want to see this movie.

If I don't really like Tarantino (the only movie of his I like is Inglorious Basterds), but I'm a huge huge huge huge fan of DiCaprio. Should I see it?
