Probably about a month ago I was thinking to myself, 'I gotta see Masta Ace live soon' and then last night I saw Ace was doing a show with the Juice Crew All-Stars in April. Should be sick!

To everyone else posting on this board I appreciate your choice in music. Found a lot of good gems here. Thanks.
I don't know how old you are, but you post that Eazy-E is a "terrible rapper" (which he wasn't) and then embed a video with some laughable wannabe that's not only just repeats his lyrics over and over again, but he also sounds like he's constipated.

Not sure if you were serious with this post, but if you were,...

Like him or not, NWA with Easy-E paved the way for many artists, including this garbage excuse of a "gangsta". It's just too bad that today's version of Rap/HipHop is 90% crap as oppose to the 80's and 90's. It seems like most producers don't know a good song from a bad song, but hey--maybe I'm just too nostalgic?

I agree with this. Doesn't change his talent in music though, wasn't it already confirmed Ice cube wrote everything too? Every time he rapped he sounded like he was talking outloud and never meshed with the beat. I don't like his flow. Might be two songs I like of his. I liked NWA too. Mostly Dre, Ren and Cube.

There's still some good talent out there though, J. cole, Schoolboy Q, Macklemore, Kendrik Lamar, Logic to name a few.

Holy **** people I was posting this track in response to his comment regarding listening to real music. .. come on . I didn't think was necessary .. I mean listen to the song.

I know this song, that beat made the track. He's got a couple good lines in there though. Still overrated. Never understood the aura of his rap career. I understand he started this gangster ****, but he wasn't alone and IMO not the engine that ran the group.

you said Eazy E sucked, therefore it wouldnt have surprised me if you actually liked that song ...

and no, the beat was awesome, but Eazy and his incredibly chill flow and lyrics made the song

No, I had a phase where gangster rap was my go to, but I grew out of it. I still listen to some tracks here and there.

I disagree. I can't imagine what an actual lyricist could do with that beat. It just hit harder cause of his passing for most, good song though. Never took Eazy seriously.

Anyways enough derailing obviously my intention backfired here.

Just watched this video this morning:

J.A.E – Second Lap

Pretty dope song. Found it on freeonsmash.com which updates all new artist videos everyday either mainstream or underground.

Cant post link as my work blocks the site.
