Hunh? I think this may be a leftover from the post you copied, RangerEsq.

Noreau for like the fourth round in a row. Add McNaught.

Is Kolarik still eligible? He's 26 by now and should've lost prospect status according to HF rules.

Pashnin, on talent. Hope we will get some use out of the guy, directly or in trade, at some point...

Add McNaught, Cam Talbot

But Pashnin has very little talent based on how his career has gone in the KHL.

First Pashnin is going to have to come to North America. Then he's going to have to prove he can displace someone at the NHL level. He's got a lot of defensemen in his way just at the AHL level and then McIlrath too.

What talent though? He's a mediocre defenseman in the KHL. I don't know, I've never been impressed by him.

Somebody should do a psychological thesis on why people are in love with Pashnin...it'd probably be really interesting.

Seriously though, I don't think the guy ever plays meaningful games in the NHL.

It means almost nothing when a college player picks it up in his junior & senior years. By that time he's physically more mature than most of other other players around him & the coach usually gives him more icetime. If you're looking for an indication of a college player's potential as a pro, you have to look at his production as as a freshman or sophomore, which for Hobbs was virtually nil.

I voted Noreau. Add Missiaen, simply because he's a project with more upside than the rest.

Hobbs will probably get an AHL deal. I'd be surprised if he received an ELC. He brings more to the table than Max Campbell, but the circumstances of the two players are similar.
