Games in February

I'm looking at the upcoming schedule for February and we are in for a tough stretch. Many are worried about the end of the year, but look at our upcoming opponents until about Feb 28th there is not a single team on there that doesn't have a winning record. How many you think we need out of this month to be set for the trade deadline?

Tough question. We need to take at least half of the divisional games ... in regulation. Add to that, we need to beat Minny and take two of three from the east. 7-4-1 between now and the deadline is the minimum. That would put us at 79 points, 37 wins heading into the game on the night of the 27th with 20 games remaining.

I have, it's the same people we play in February, except in February we have a full month of them instead of 4-5 running games. 12 (I think) total games compared to 4-5 I'm more worried about these, though I know those will be crucial too.

that's the thing. nothing is decided until that week. Then FINALLY some real separation can begin to happen.

And? If the team wants to make the playoffs in position to succeed, they need to beat teams in the division besides Columbus.
