Looking at that line up, how can anyone doubt Malkin's mvp-ness?

Yep. You take out Malkin and you get 20 goals from Neal, and a team that can barely beat the Marlies, if that.

Pens fans here with roster update:

Steve Macintyre is in the AHL

Pens have called up RW Colin Mcdonald

Besides that you nailed our very sad 2-4 lines

I was thinking the same thing.

Malkin is a beast, not the first time he's carried the Penguins.

You would think it should be.

Love to see Malkin have another huge game in a Leafs' win.

Was last game and according to Ice Chips they practiced yesterday as a line. 9 points as a line against the Isles in the last game. Safe assumption.

Day back after a bit of a break, I expect them to come out flat..likely lose, but I hope I'm wrong.

Either way, these two should be tough games. Hopefully they can win and build some momentum.

Same here.

Also seems like the Leafs bomb when they play on TSN. No clue why.

Leafs need to do what Pittsburgh is doing, win 7+ games in a row. A big winning streak would go a long way. It's frustrating to see them win a few in a row, only to crap the bed for a few in a row.

Leafs don't need TSN to play like crap.

We should be happy with any success, but it should be measured in stages of development not wins.

If they play up to potential they are mediocre and can probably give the one line Penguins a good battle.

It is about development and building for a future championship.

True, I've had to remind myself a few times to temper the expectations because they are a young team. The thing that bugs me is the fact that they're right up against the cap with plenty of dollars to be spent in the offseason

Yep this is going to be a hard game. Pittsburgh is tough. Well coached. Just like we are

Anything is possible, but even an overtime game would be a fine result. Let's watch, see and learn.

I think Ron Wilson should have watched like The Omen last night and now using some voodoo doll for summoning coach Bylsma. Bite him or something... coach Bylsma is so damn strong. Send Chuckie out to get him.. or something
