Hahaha, awesome GDT as always.

Here's hoping the Sharks pull out a win for it.

Sharks win 4-2
Pavelski, All-Star, Marleau, McGinn
Johansen x2

It's kinda sad that I look forward to GDTs more than the games themselves. Terrific stuff.

Why are you guys picking Vermette to score (and Nash for that matter)? Are they considered "Sharks killers"?

Carter isn't playing, whoever picked him for the SNOG.

Jan. 5th - 1st period scoring - 02:13 CBJ Vinny Prospal (8) Slap Shot - Assists: M. Letestu (6) & A. Vermette (9)

Jan. 14th - 3rd Perdiod scoring - 06:53 CBJ Rick Nash (16) Wrist Shot - Assists: N. Nikitin (15) & A. Vermette (11)

That would probably be why. heh.

Tough call between going to the game or going to see the Toasters out in Santa Cruz tonight. Biggest reason I'm leaning towards SC is because it's Colombus. The last two games have not been very exciting. Decisions, decisions...

Couture is definitely gonna ride that All Star high and get a goal tonight. I think Clowe gets one in his first game back as well.

Edit: Is Clowe playing? I thought he was coming back tonight.

Is Demers hurt again or is he a healthy scratch? I don't recall him doing anything that warrants a healthy scratch but he played in the last game before the break and I don't see how the break could get him hurt again.

Pollak had "lower body" as the comment on Demers.

Bah. Those were just assists... Seriously, Vermette has a grand total of 6, count 'em 6 goals all season. Woo hoo.... No wonder we suck.

Dorsett has more goals than Vermette, Brassard, and Umberger. Each of them should have been good for 20 +/- 3 goals or so over the course of a season. All three are still in single digits 50 games in.
