Watch them waste a roster spot for a guy who will get totally ignored by Downie tonight / who will take stupid penalties trying to get Downie to drop the mitts.

I just worry that if Downie ignores him, the dummy will go and run Stammer or Marty et al to get Downie to do something.

It's getting better!

Or that's what I keep telling myself. It's pretty bad when an entire section will be mumbling "just don't give up a shortie" over and over for an entire 2:00 PP.

PP has definitely looked a lot better. Mainly with Gervais and Mikkelson on the points. Everything they do goes toward the net. I'm not certain that they know how to play too fancy, it's simply not in their repetoires.

Caps GDT is interesting. They seem to think they owe Downie for something. I didn't know he was thought of that much by other teams.

Someone pinch me, I thought I heard Milbury and Jonesy making comments that could be considered, "nice", about the Bolts and our Big 3.

Fully expect them to **** it up soon and start telling us about Sidney Crosby and his press conference or talk about Ovie's suspension...

Watching Milbury play GM is amusing. Given how incredibly bad he has proven he is at it.

Caps fans seem to get infatuated with certain players. Does anyone remember all the "Run Roloson" ramble from last year?

It worked so well too!

It's the Chris Neil complex. Everybody wants some revenge.

Bogus icing call leads to their best shifts of the game thus far.

Great finish on that amazing pass! I'm also of the mind that Connolly looks lost out there, something has to happen with him soon.

Anyone else wondering wtf Strader and Engblom are watching? They're talking like we're lucky it's 1-1. If anything it's the ****ing Caps that have been lucky. They had one good shift given to them after a bogus icing. They were given a PP that they sucked balls on and we held the puck in their end, albeit on the perimeter, for most of the period.

Yet somehow they are giving credit to the Caps for winning that period?!

Ahhh, what would an intermission be without copious amount of shaft licking of big market teams and their players?
