We had a chance before, let's not pretend that Lundqvist is invincible. But we do have a better chance now.

Historically we've lit Biron up most of the time...but lately we've been able to make anyone look good. Hopefully they rediscovered how to score during the break.

Let the "this team is garbage", "pathetic", "they're not even interested/they're playing with no desire", "this coach has no idea what he is doing", etc etc posts commence.

This is the key. Blame the defence and goaltending if you like, but the fact is that we're not going to win many games scoring only one goal.

Greene's back? That sets this game up for the classic "slack off when a key player returns to the lineup" debacle.

Who's excited?!

I will probably get to listen to the back half of the 2nd on the radio, and watch the 3rd when I'm back home from class. Hoping for a nice Devils lead by the time I get in the car. Lets Go Devils

He's not quite that key.

Henrique is still injured? How? It was a minor groin pull two weeks ago and he just had a week off...

a win would be nice....good to see greene is hopefully healthy and another thing i gotta say is i am completely onboard with janssen sitting. as much as everyone loves him, the fact is he is terrible and shouldnt be anywhere near an nhl lineup. as far as bringing "energy", its hard to do that in an arena that is 80% full and therefore not loud anyways.

Maybe it wasn't so minor. Maybe he tweaked it again in the Buffalo game. Groins are hard to predict.

We should have a thread listing all of his amazing clueless moments.

My favorite moment this season was in our game against the Whalers in Carolina. The crowd started that annoying horn-lead "lets go Canes" chant while the play was going on. And on the first blow of the horn Steve interrupts calling the play thinking there's a stoppage "...and there's a horn going off in the arena for some reason". what a fool

There are other times when Steve and Chico can't tell who the penalty is on. It's infuriating for them to go to commercial and I think we have a PP coming back, and then when the broadcast starts again the faceoff is in our zone and they got it wrong.

Steve also doesn't seem to be able to distinguish between 8 and 9, because he has mistaken Zubrus for Parise, Shanahan famously for Zajac, and Volchenkov for Fayne.
