Would be nice if he can pull this off.
Cold hard Lindy Ruff fact: No goals by 21/63/42 in 1st 2 shifts = No more 63 at Center.

Ain't THAT the truth!

Lindy really is waaaay too impatient. He should FORCE himself to leave lines in place for a longer stretch---just as an experiment for himself! What has he got to lose at this point?

Sweet. Looking forward to talking about actual hockey rather than the hidden intent of select quotes.

Habs take it, 3-1.

  • The Sabres defeated the Devils, 2-1, in a shootout in their last game before the break, snapping a franchise-record 12-game road losing streak in the process. Buffalo is now 3-0 in road shootouts this season (0-2 at home).
  • Montreal pummeled Detroit, 7-2, last Wednesday and has now taken at least one point from three straight games overall (2-0-1 record). Including a 0-for-11 power-play performance by their last three opponents, the Habs have an 89.4 penalty-kill percentage in 2011-12 -- best in the NHL.
  • Buffalo has won both meetings with the Canadiens in 2011-12 and, including a 4-game win streak in Montreal, five straight tilts vs. the Habs overall. The Sabres have seven victories (7-3-1 record) at Bell Centre since the beginning of 2008-09 -- tied with the Devils for most of any Montreal opponent.
  • Jordan Leopold lit the lamp for the first time in 11 games last Tuesday and now has eight markers on the season. Leopold has four goals against the Canadiens since the beginning of 2008-09 -- his most vs. any opponent.
  • David Desharnais recorded the first 2-goal game of his career in Montreal's win over the Wings on his way to first-star accolades Wednesday. Desharnais has 14 points (4g, 10a) in his last 12 games -- tied with Erik Cole for most of any Habs' skater since December 29.
  • Buffalo's blueliners have combined to score 21 goals in 2011-12 -- tied for third-most of any team in the Eastern Conference.

Reading some of your guys posts and predictions, remember that we're not very good either. Been playing better of late yes, but still an inconsistent hockey team. The Sabres always give the Habs trouble, and with the break, Miller getting his mojo back in NJ, and some of your guys coming back healthy...I think you're a better team than what you've shown. Wouldn't surprise me to see your team come back with clearer heads and get it back heading in the right direction..you still have some talent on this team.

I've seen this from the Habs before...after a big win or a couple of wins they usually can't get it done when everyone thinks they will..I like Buffalo to win this by a goal or in a shootout myself. Habs usually win games they're not supposed to and vice versa.

So where are people finding themselves online feeds?

MSG isn't carried where I am anymore and Sabres are blacked out on Gamecenter Live

Probably on sites that index feeds, like Wiziwig.

I assume one could always spoof their IP address through a dedicated VPN to avoid the regional blackouts in GameCenter.

I've got a feeling Vanek breaks out in a big way tonight.

Lord knows they need him to.

Go Sabres!

You're a much better team, the Habs are carried by Price, nothing more.

Great GDT!

I kind of want to see them win again, draft picks aside. It was a nice way to go into the all star break, and it'd be fun to see them win two in a row again.

FFS, just send him back to Rochester already. There's no way that any of this can be good for his development.

Time to send Adam down. Sitting in the press box isn't going to help his game and he's not been good enough in game action in over a month.
