Who really cares? The PP has been great even after Gilbert and RNH went down. Worry about issues we've been struggling with, I say.
How much better would it be without Belanger killing the play every time he touched the puck?

If Barker was in the lineup, he would be in that spot.
EDIT: Did you really just suggest Cornet should be on the point on an NHL powerplay?
To be honest, I might try Smid. I know he doesn't have the numbers previously but he's been better this year and he doesn't fire the puck directly to opposing players every time he touches the puck like Belanger. And I can see how it looked like that, but no that wasn't my intention. Perhaps Jones could play the point. Or just play Potter. My point is that near anyone would be an upgrade over Belanger. He brings the concept of a blackhole of offense to a whole new level.
I don't want to take this too off-topic with my Belanger hate, so I'll leave it at that for the GDT. After he destroys our 2nd PP for another game I'll bring it up in the PGT.
What channel is the game on tonight? Sportsnet has it, but on the Shaw guide it says it starts at 9:30, which is after the Flames game. Surely it has to be on one of the Sportsnet Oilers channels, but it isn't listed anywhere.
Also wondering about this...Anybody have an answer?
I'm seeing numerous tweets from Edmonton area media saying it's on Sportsnet Oilers...yeah, we get that. But the problem is that Shaw doesn't have a specified Sportsnet Oilers channel. It's usually 301 or 302, but neither of those channels have the game on their guide. Frustrating.
Are they playing him because he was on a bit of a role or is there possibly something in the works to trade Khabby and acquire someone else?
I don't see why he shouldn't get the majority of starts the rest of the season. Put him under some pressure, see how he responds, and get a better feel on how our goaltending situation looks in the short-to-medium term.
for the shaw people, I have shaw myself and since the game should be on sportsnet oil the channels are 326 for sd and 302 for hd. Strange that the guide shows the game only on the nhl center ice channel.

Every single Oilers game on the specialty "Oiler" channel has been shown on shaw channels 302 and 326.
I fully expect tonights game to be no different, even if it's not showing up in the guide.
For our Edmonton #Oilers fans out there the guide is currently not showing the game, but it's on Channel # 326 in SD and #302 in HD. #Shaw
Thanks for this. But how amateurish is it that it isn't possible to discern what channel a game is going to be on more than a few minutes before the actual game.
Really doesn't work for the fans that have the PVR's that want to actually preset the record.
I like how each time a scheduling conflict comes up its like theres not even a plan of what channel it'll be on until the last moment..
jebus no wonder people just catch the streams instead and yank cable.

If I wanted to set my PVR I could have gone to 302 and recorded the unnamed program running from 7-10 (with the usual additional 30 minutes) and would have picked up the game.
Our power play has been one of the best in the league all season long with Horcoff on the top unit.
People can complain about him being on that unit all they want but it works well with him on it.
Let's be serious, he has absolutely nothing to do with whatever success we have on our PP., watching him on the PP, or trying to play hockey, though is enough to make you puke
