Sorry, don't buy this. The Flyers make radical changes and can just turn it around in one season. I don't expect a tyransformation in one season the way Philly does, but this is the sixth season under DL and we have to grind out 3-2 wins over Columbus and leave with this mini-sense of euphoria that our offense managed to actual reach three goals in a game against the worst team and worst defense in the league. And they only did that because of a last second goal and possible game clock shenanigans.
Our offensive woes aren't strictly the system, but it is a part of it. I'm glad we traded Murray out for Suteer, he is an upgrade, but DL plays most things to safe for us to ever be as good as the Flyers are on an annual basis.
