Jarret Stoll

Can anyone think of another player who played parts of Major Junior, Minor Pro, and NHL hockey in the same city like Stoll has? I imagine it's pretty rare.

No other city has(d) all three levels of hockey has it? I guess Toronto with the Leafs, St. Mikes and the RR last year but that won't produce anyone fitting. Maybe next year when St. John's moves to Toronto.

Nice digging Seachd.

Yeah, I was thinking that it wouldn't have been possible (at least lately). But off the top of my head, I can't remember all the cities that have had junior/minor teams. If it has happened before, it would probably be in the east somewhere.

EDIT: Maybe I'll put this on the history board and see what happens.

Montreal had several players go through the Jr. Canadiens when they were in the old OHA, the Montreal Voyageurs of the AHL, and then arrive in the NHL and play with the Montreal Canadiens...among the more recognizable names...

the light bulb above my head finally lit up this afternoon...took me a few days to remember that the Canadiens had an AHL team, plus they had territorial rights to all the players from the Province of Quebec until the late 1960's and that the Junior Canadiens were in the OHA...

The Boston Bruins had an AHL farm team for a few years in the early 1970's, the Boston Braves, but I'm not sure if any of the players played for Boston College, BU, or other amateur teams in the Boston area...maybe research for later...

Offhand, other than the Philadelphia and Toronto situations previously mentioned, I can't think of any situations where this might have happened...
