Jason Ward has signed with the bulldogs

Great News! This should give the bulldogs even more firepower upfront. It also adds crucial veteran experience to this young squad.

That is awesome news. Ward will help the offense a lot, while bringing needed leadership and experience. I'm sure our young players like Locke and Kostitsyn will learn a lot from Jason's relentless style. I suppose he's going to get the "C". I can't see wait to see him play with Higgins. I'm sure those two can form one heck of a good duo! On a side note, I'm surprised RDS is so slow having the news on its website. The Hamilton Bulldogs website has it on their front page since 10 am... "Premiers sur la nouvelle" ... Yeah right!

Good news! The dogs really needed more veteran presence.

Great news, he's exactly what the Dogs need up front, someone with some skill and leadership. If he can regain his form from the 2002-2003 season, he and the Dogs could have a great year. And if Komisarek makes his way down soon, all the better.

Just another reason I want to watch as many Bulldogs games as possible. For all those that haven't signed the RDS petition yet, please do.....

...and also email RDS and let them know your feelings.

It's quite possible. I had just gotten back from my classes at the University when I saw this great tidbit of news on rds.

I signed the petition last night. We deserve to have Bulldogs hockey on rds.

Great. The bulldogs are stacking up quite nicely. Now all they need is a healthy Komo, and a improved, more determined Hainsey.......

This just further demonstrates what a great player/character Ward is and will be a significant fixture in Montreal for years to come. Kids will learn from a guy who took his game to another level before having to leave the playoffs with an injury.

I'd suppose the lines will look like this (?) :

Higgins-Plekanec-Ward (YUM!)
Ott-Morgan-Milroy/Kostitsyn
Ivanan-Higgins/Morgan-Ferland
Thinel-Locke-Lambert/Milroy/Kostitsyn

1st PP unit :

Higgins-Plekanec-Ward
Daley-Hainsey

2nd PP unit :

Kostitsyn-Locke-Milroy
Plante-Komisarek (when he comes back)

Looks very good.

Imagine if Perezhogin was not suspended
