i dont understand why rangers fans are making such a big deal out of this game. they are still in the divisional lead and are showing absolutely no signs of slowing down. great, great team as much as i cant stand them. but hopefully tomorrow they come out and beat the piss out of buffalo, the only team i cant stand more than them.
No reason to be upset as a Ranger fan. They got a point, put forth an effort that wins most nights (minus the atrocious PP), and have a fresh starting goaltender for tomorrow night. Too many people are taking the loss to heart when games like this happen all year. There's 82 of them, you can't win them all.

Yep, my proposition has been a 10 minute OT and then a tie. It gives enough time to greatly reduce ties while not tiring teams out. Like Zenith, I've always hated the shootout and let it be known. A shootout win is 2 points though and the Devils are taking advantage of it. The Rangers did the first couple of years too. Not gonna be upset over it because it goes both ways, just a shame that a good game like ended in a shootout.
And I'm another that's asking what's up with Clarkson? Guy almost has 20 goals after an offseason where I read numerous posts here basically trying to ship him off lol
Come on, we've been victimized by our own rink in the past. If anything, I think that's the only time a bad bounce of the boards actually went in the home team's favor since the move to Newark.
And Madison Square Garden isn't exactly a gleaming example of sports architecture. (Nor does the 400 level smell sanitary.)
And that's where I end it to avoid getting banned on my own thread. k bye.
Should I have placed the symbol? It was a joke bud.

Deboer just did something to Clarkson. Deboer was Clarksons Junior coach, and something just clicked
Clarkie shot 6% last year. He was due for a rebound season in a big way (which I had said basically all offseason while some people were trying to drop him). I didn't think it would be this huge, though

I still say 3 points for a win or OT win, 2 points for a Shootout win, 1 for a OT/Shootout loss, 0 for loss
