IMO Roy and Stafford were not good at all. I'm beginning to not even notice Stafford, but I can't ignore that ****ing ugly #9 on the ice in a Sabres jersey. Thankfully he is becoming more and more invisible as well.
You're entitled to your opinion. For tonight, anyways, it happens to be wrong. Stafford was invisible? What game were you watching? Roy could've had a multi-point game if Pommer finished either of his big chances (hit the post, and Price saved his shot with a rolling puck). He also was 62% at the dot, including some big defensive zone wins in the 3rd. Stop reading the scoring summary and start watching the games.

Unfortunately, GBUs have turned into another thread in which people can grind their season axes, rather than actually commenting about the game for which the thread is meant.

I thought both played very well. Stafford in particular was very engaged in the game. He really needs to start scoring, though. He had several beautiful opportunities.

Your entire argument is destroyed by your obvious blind hatred of Roy. That's fine, however if your going to post an opinion about how he played bases solely on your hatred and not how he actually played you pretty much make yourself look foolish. This was one of Roys better games

Notice in my first post, I never said anything about Roy or Stafford playing badly, I would like to see some sort of intensity or emotion coming out of them when they lace them up.

Also, please don't assume that I didn't watch the game, because I did. I happened to be studying for my exam at the same time, so perhaps I didn't see these magical opportunities that Roy was creating shift after shift. I suppose I am expecting too much of Roy.

@prongerseyeball
Roy gets a pass because he won his faceoffs? Ok, you're right, I guess he did something tonight.

G: Leino playing to what he gets paid for a game. Can we do this again next game, Ville?
Miller stood on his head for a change. Nice to see him in good form.
Ennis at Center...methinks he'll be there for awhile?
Kaleta's hustle on is ENG. No one picked up him up and he made the Habs pay.
40 shots on goal

B: Sylvester's play by play.
Stafford still playing awful, aside from moving his feet once in awhile that drew some penalties.
Ehrhoff's shot from his own end (Kaleta's ENG) was a...questionable decision that really could have burned the team with an icing call if the Habs actually played defence and chased after the puck for it.
No goals off the power plays.

U: Still a lot of running around late in the 3rd.
Blown coverage on defense, but Miller did bail them out.

Unsure: no help on the scoreboard. Still 10 points out of 8th. Good or bad? I dunno anymore...

Twitter abuzz that Goose said something to Pacioretty re Chara. Not sure I'd go there if I were Goose given that he looked pretty scared himself after Lucic trucked Miller.

G:
- I can always enjoy a win; hoping they continue to play like this, win or lose
- Ennis, Leino, Miller, Myers/Ehrhoff, Roy, Stafford all played well IMO
- Consecutive wins, even if there was a break between, for team and Miller

B:
- Vanek leaving another game with an UBI
- They're still wasting good scoring chances

U:
- They're still 26th in the standings; nine points from 8th in the East
- Any injury to Vanek

G:
-Goaltending, both backstops were solid. Miller was lights out, and clutch in the 3rd to lock down the win
-Myers was a force
-Ennis was awesome
-I thought that the Boyes Leino Kaleta line was interesting

B:
-The offense still not finishing

u:
-Another freakin injury

Only 9 points out with over 30 games to play? Obviously it's not likely, but it wouldn't be crazy if they made a run and got a spot either.

Hey man, I'll get on board that train any day of the week and twice on Sundays. I could care less about lottery picks when the wins start piling up. Every 10 game win streak I know was once a two game win streak.

I'll confess, the constant losing, the crappy play, the utter dejection -- It's been really ****ing with my mind. I think I'm losing it lately.

Being that he's gone something like 60 games without a goal it wouldn't shock me.

Ennis looked like Briere for most of the night. And for a couple of moments, Mike Peca.

Really? Our 4th line has been one of our best lines in a bunch of the games we've been playing recently. They were the only ones that would have any type of forecheck. Ruff made the right call rolling 3 tonight, but on other nights the team needed the 4th line badly which is why he kept rolling 4.

I'm hoping Kassian gets called up and Adam gets thrown back into the lineup Vanek out so Adam probably goes back in and Kassian called up to Replace Ellis or McCormick. We could use the extra offense.

If Gaustad really said that, I'm looking forward to him being off the roster...what a piece of garbage he is.

Who cares what he did or didn't say. Much worse than that is said every game.

That's nothing.
