Montreal has a good defense now along with a few good prospects. Gauthier is still in win now mode so he will not trade away a roster player for a prospect.

Minnesota needs scoring.

No, MN needs good young defensemen. Despite Cuma's injury struggles its worth more to the Wild to keep him and hope he reaches his potential.

We need either a top line scorer (no secondary scorers) or, more importantly, we need defense. There's no reason we trade for a 29 year old 3rd liner.

I was unaware of their defensive issues. This isn't Minnesota's year, so keeping their prospects would be the best idea.

We are loaded with D prospects right now. He'd get lost in the pile that's going pro next season. A 2nd rounder should be the asking price.

Pass... Cuma would be more like a toss-in on a Moen deal for me... like, a B prospect added in by a contender to make up for their 2nd rounder being very late in the draft order, say, if they were in a bidding war with a team that had a higher 2nd to offer.

Moen would garner a 2nd and a prospect at the deadline? If that's the case very interested in what the Wild could get for Brodziak...

As for the deal, meh, no thanks. The Wild have enough players to fill out that type of role.

Moen name is everywhere in trade rumors but the guy is hurt right now and the end of the month is approaching fast.

Wild wouldn't do this, and we don't need offensive players we've got enough guys going pro next year.

Crap for crap, eh?

Nah, I'd rather have the kid on a rebuilding team.

Yeah, don't see the point of this for Minny. They do not really need a player like Moen.

I'd rather have a draft pick or forward prospect for Moen.
