Credit goes to Woodhouse for the template.

Placeholder for now. I'll try to update this tomorrow...

I have Saturday's GDT, so going forward, there will be a more refined template available after I complete it tomorrow night. I'll post the code in one of the GDT threads and explain what users would have to add/customize, as well as where to look for certain info. I'll try and include:
  • Ability to add BB code (aka. text-friendly, link-friendly, quote-friendly, etc.)
  • Transparent/blank space to easily crop/paste in a game photo (so it'd probably be without the third-crest overlap), plus the dimensions of said space.
  • Section headers (ie. game preview, projected lineups, stats, standings, media, etc. -- I'll take requests/suggestions here) that will look something like this:

(AP) One of the keys to the New York ... (Full Story)

In Buffalo, Tortorella is expected to put Lundqvist back in net after he was rested in favor of Biron, who made 26 saves before stopping two of the three attempts in the tiebreaker Tuesday.

Lundqvist is a major reason for New York's lofty status in the conference, going 22-10-4 while his 1.87 goals-against average and five shutouts rank among the league leaders.

He has shutouts in two of his last four games, going 3-1-0 with a 1.23 GAA. That includes a 22-save effort in a 3-0 win over Winnipeg on Jan. 24 before the Rangers entered the All-Star break.

Lundqvist, though, hasn't been as effective over his last six games against the Sabres (21-24-5), posting a 1-4-1 record and 2.78 GAA. He sat out the most recent meeting Dec. 10, as Biron stopped 32 shots in a 4-1 victory in Buffalo.

Was hoping someone would post that today.

And figures, I'll be traveling tonight and can't watch this even though I'd actually be able to....

Rangers are far and away a better team. I just hope the score is respectable. 3-1 Rangers.

I don't expect to win. But can someone score a goal or two at least?

Ok Sabres, win tonight and I'm back on board for this cute little playoff thing you're trying to accomplish.

Bad move Torts...I'd totally play Biron. He has owned us repeatedly.

I would love to see a Sabres win here, but Lundqvist is on my fantasy team...

Rangers 2-1

This is good. I was looking for at least a PSD template but didn't see you post one and couldn't PM you so I just did as BTT did and edited your image.

I apologized for the half-assed effort. I've been dealing with my car all week and may not be able to update this thread again but I will try if I have time.

If I don't get back in here, Go Sabres!

What does this even mean?

As for tonight's game, Ruff said Thomas Vanek will undergo more evaluation this afternoon. Another forward whom Ruff didn't name is sick and Zack Kassian was seen in the building and seems likely to play tonight. Ruff would not commit to putting Luke Adam back in the lineup.

If Miller plays like he has the last two games, we could be in for a real treat. I love goalie duels.
