I'm annoyed. I would've loved to hear Sam and Joe for this one, instead getting NBCSP coverage. Too bad.

OMG, I would totally take Doc over Elmer Fudd.

btw...Didn't Danny Gare work as color guy for Columbus? If so, then HOW-THE-****** does he NOT know to shut his pie hole when the PxP guy is calling a goal!!! His repeated early reactions and utterences while Elemer Fudd was talking were so bush league!

Same. They're my favorite duo in the business right now, imo. Sucks even more that I don't have NBCSP and will have to watch this game at a bar.

I'll be there, whole family going, brother is a Rangers fan. I have a good feeling again like yesterday (called 3-1 with empty netter yesterday on pg 2 of the GDT, not to toot my own horn , Sabres get a big performance from Miller and win 2-1.

Miller should play, let him get on a roll, he's been lights out lately.

Miller is coming off plenty of rest during the break, and just played one of his better games of the year.\

he starts tonight, no question

I wanted them to tank for the last few weeks, now they've won a couple in a row. I highly doubt a win tonight but if they could somehow pull it out I'd restore some faith in this team

Were you in town for Sam & JD? Or just recently post-lockout for Sam & Joe?

You want to talk about a perfect tandem? That was Sam and John Davidson in the 90's and early 00's. Perfection.

My first Sabres game since Quebec beat them 7-2. Hopefully Grant Fuhr plays better this time.

I also hope the atmosphere is good!

No reason to think the atmosphere is going to be any better than it's been at home this season. It probably won't be as bad as it would have been had the Sabres lost the last two on the road.

Just recently (within the last year and a half).

They're so unbiased, it's awesome. Sam is the man.

Yeah, he's great. Grew up more accustomed to his voice than RJ's...had to wait a long time to hear RJ courtesy of Grandma sending my Dad and me VHS/Cassette tapes.

Also remember when we got our first answering machine when I was a child. Our message was Hannan's OT winner, as called by RJ. Priceless.

What brings you to NYC? Work? Temporary?

No Vanek or Hecht proves to be too much for the Sabres to overcome. Plus it doesn't help they have generally not looked good against good teams.

4-1 Rangers

Gerbe, Kaleta, or Leino get the lone goal

Might not be able to watch this one, going to see a house I might live in next year at 7 then I have an actual hockey game later.

But, my feelings about the game aren't anything out of the ordinary. I feel like Miller will have another strong game, but ultimately King Henrik is awesome and he'll be that much better. Something like 2-1 or 2-0 Rangers.

If you get Vs. (which is now NBCSP), you're good to go.

Lunqvist sucks against us, 3-2 Sabres in the SO.
