Fistric had numerous great hits and plays. Why not play him more often? Doubt Grossman will be ready by tomorrow.

How the hell did Ryder end up with 3 points?

I guess that's what happens when you're on a line with Jamie Benn.

Yep. Benn line gets 3 goals with no one but Benn even looking good. Meanwhile Loui plays great and ends up -1.

Free Loui.

Meh, Loui playing on the other line is for the good of the team.

Agreed. Replacing Ryder or Ott with Loui would create an automatic defensive black hole on the 2nd line, save Ribeiro's occasional good defensive play.

Oh I agree completely. I just like seeing Loui rewarded, and hate what a black hole that 2nd line is most nights (namely Morrow). Though he did have a great chance tonight that he didn't get off.

The top two lines actually look like fit together with all the parts back. Will wonders never cease.

Morrow and Fistric probably made their best passes of the season tonight and neither guy on the end could convert. Oh well.

Ott made a nice pass in garbage time to Ryder at the end there but Benn needs someone with better hockey sense on his line than Ott. Morrow and Ott are both the weak links on their respective lines.

Benn had a solid game all around and that semi-breakaway was a no-doubter. I've pretty much given up hope on this season being "successful" but the games are definitely more fun to watch with #14 in the lineup.

Fistric easily made the case to replace Grossman tonight.

Someone mentioned that in the NBA they had something similar happen and they had the teams replay a portion of the game.

There's no perfect fix for that game if the clock did indeed glitch and allow the Kings to score the winning goal in the last second of a game. But "investigating" it for the sake of itself is pretty pointless if nothing tangible comes from it. That extra point will almost definitely have seeding implications in the West at the end of the season.

Why does Columbus even care? It's over for them, anyways.

I know it won't happen, but they should either:

Give both teams 1 point (take one of LA's and give to to CBJ).
Or declare regulation over and have them play OT elsewhere.

Those make the most sense to me.

This goes far beyond Columbus it has to do with the integrity of the league. I would like to see them give each team one point and be done with it.

The columbus gm probably only really cares because it takes away some attention from "why the hell does this guy have a job"
