Yeah that's probably it. He's definitely Lady Byng material.

Because deterring clowns from injuring our top players is not a wise management decision.

Is it worth to see TBL match from yesterday? Or a waste of time?

Good...err, maybe not...luck tonight. Hopefully both teams can make the playoffs in the end and represent the Southeast, eh?

If your team plans on winning tonight, play nice and give us a point. It's been 10 years for us Panther fans; the 8th seed is like the 1st seed to us!
That's a deal. I'd rather see the Panthers in the playoffs with us than TB. Think my listl of teams i dislike is starting to take shape.

I forgot that Steve Downie was a puppy killing, old lady pusher. It's a good thing we brought in a heavyweight to "seriously deter" a middleweight.

I wouldn't. There were a few interesting goals that you can see on NHL.com. Vinny taking out both our Dmen at the blue springing a breakaway goal was interesting. And he was offside.

It was funny watching Recker ice the puck the moment it hit his stick. And than later avoiding touching the puck a la Sarge, both in the first 10 minutes of the game.

Last night right after I posted that dressing Recker may have helped him keep his nose clean, he did get away with a little cross check on Alzner. But other than that, his presence appeared noticed to me.

I think its safe to say Whyno asking him if he would fight Recker pretty much did Reckers job for him.

I think it was a good move to have him at the ready. If anyone thinks Jay Beagle was the key to victory last night, pass it around.

I expect to see 55 bring the rage tonight. If I spent a month on the bench I truck someone behind the net. And the rage doll the first guy to come close to me. Even if he can not fight. As big as he is he should be able to at least show he has some fight in him. Its hard to say his life is on the line but I would hate to have tell my family we are moving because I am I pu$$. He only chance to find a role on the team is to start bouncing people.

Given the whole GMGM being at the Nucks/Hawks game, and the rumors that the Hawks are interested in him, I might think GMGM either wants him played for the Hawks staff to get another look, or playing him to see if he really has anything left to give before shipping him out. At this point I highly doubt Dale is the one that wanted him in the lineup. I think this is the make or break game for Schultz, at least for his time here in Washington.

Dale concerned about appearances and what others might think about his actions or decisions.

That ship sailed along time ago and we're reminded of it every time you hear the likes of Doc Emrick or Pierre Mcguire reference the team taking on the personality of its coach etc..

I read the GM in Vancouver news on twitter and on other message boards. Always fun to speculate, especially with trade deadline on 2/27 at 3pm eastern. It's also possible GMGM was on his way to the top prospects game in Kelowna being played tonight.

Haven't been able to check here much, did the Caps scout at the Isles Canes game also get noted?
Not that it's any surprise for scouts to be at hockey games.

Now that's funny...

LOL...you sir are in for a real treat then! I expect a handful of angry long pokechecks, a lot of lazy pushes to the backs of opposing forwards tonight, topped off with the patented short windup slapper from the point, with a couple of flub wristers harmlessly into the corners to really show the team how much he wants his spot back. Sarge is going to be fired up! I look forward to his most entertaining 10 mins of ice time in a month.

Even if it will never be in his character, he should suck it up, and go out and flat out try and hit someone tonight. The first guy going wide. The first guy that gets a twig anywhere near Nuevy. Or tries to stand in the crease. Live dangerously, and even take a minor and show that he cares. He wants to play, he has to show it.

He is not much slower than Erskine if at all, yet is clearly behind him on the depth chart. What is it then? Erskine gives his all, plays with emotion. Sure he falls flat on his face sometimes, but I for one am always more forgiving when I see a player fail but clearly trying to give everything he can to help the team.

Interesting to see if Dale's vacation for JFS will show in his play tonight. I thought that last night Ward seemed to be a little more engaged in play when he got a chance on the ice. He actually was moving a bit with a sense of urgency and I might have even seen him lay a hit uhh brush up against someone.

Watching this one on google tv instead of through the desktop hooked up to the tv through the PC port. The difference is noticeable both in aspect ratio and quality.
