Hmm, did temperature conversion to see how cold that was in fahrenheit. Too cold for me to attend a game. Coldest weather I've ever experienced was -16 C. Absolutely brutal.

Might be a good thing though, kilpeläinen hasn't been pretty good in the last games.

And also, the game was against SaiPa.

lol, Finns are such wussies when it comes to cold weather. When the temperature drops below freezing here, everyone dresses up like they're going to a polar expedition.

I have a hard time imagining that this kind of event would be cancelled in Canada or the northern USA because of cold weather.

When I served my military service in Ivalo it was close to -50 trough the whole winter. That is cold!

This is Helsinki, Southern coast, not Ivalo... -15 is unusually cold here.

Pretty much. It was one of the coldest winters ever recorded.
It's insane to think back now.
A real once in a lifetime experience.

You have to volunteer to go there. As it is special training.

Oh and compared to me, you are the Northerner. So gtfo.

- This event will go through 99,9% even if it's -20-25c (cancellation is not an option, IFK would lose too much money).
- Olympic Stadium is always cold...add the sea winds and the cold feels a lot worse than the temperature shows in the meter.
- Most Helsinkians don't own proper winter clothing to handle 3-4 hours standing/sitting still in these conditions --> that's the main problem. I personally don't even own winter shoes LOL
- atm the weather for tomorrow looks -17 to -19C with little snowing + add the sea wind and the cold feeling is basically -25->
- I own ticket for the game but I decide tomorrow will I go or watch it from TV

It would be so cool if Zoltan Hetenyi gets the start for Jokerit. Endras maybe starting for IFK?

I guess in the first post it should have been explained how it should stay in the main board. That was the case last year.
