I was about to complain about Davidge, but damn, he has a point with the clock....

not that it matters, of course, but wow. it absolutely paused right there at 1.8.

Plain as day. That's college football timekeeping right there.

Absolutely. The timekeeper thought that Sanford had it and had a hair-trigger to stop the clock, but had to restart it again.

Not to say the Jackets would have won in overtime, but that was some major BS right there.

Had we been a good team, I probably would have been upset, but given we love to give up the late goals anyway... why bother fighting it?

As much as I'd like to be surprised, I just can't be.

No words for how this season has gone.

Hard to say which was more disappointing--this heartbreaking loss at LA or last year's pre-deadline game when Howson's "big interview" was just more of the same.

The clock did pause for 0.2 seconds, had it not stopped the clock would have been 0.0 when the puck entered the net...

Toronto did not take the time to correctly review this finish....

It stopped at 1.8 seconds for what I think was about 0.2 seconds, perhaps 0.3..

Slow clap for this team, it's pretty talented to be able to lose games in new ways all seasons. Just when I hadthought we found every way, we hav help from a timekeeper.

2 problems.
1 is the obvious time issue.
2 Did they even have a final faceoff? If the goal is counted, it occurred before 00.0 which means there is still time on the clock and a face off is required(I think?(you know, like the miracle on ice game when the USA scored with "no time" and the soviets went to the dressing room then had to come back to take the faceoff)). This might have allowed for additional reviewing time.

Perhaps FSOhio's clock was just their own graphic... Generally pretty accurate but ultimately not official? Just like the clock in NFL games. Pretty damn close, but not official?

No clue, just tossing out ideas here.

It was longer than that. Fox Sports said it was a full second. It definitely was somewhere between 0.5-1.0 seconds.

Isn't it funny how we're ALWAYS the ones getting screwed over? I can't think of a single time where something really questionable has gone in our favor...

I remember Malholtra's "Distinct kicking motion" on 1 skate
I remember Detroit backheeling a puck into our net that wasn't a "distinct kicking motion"
This pile of BS.

There's more but I'm in screwjob overload right now. Someone pass me my tinfoil hat.
