Alyonka's like the perfect girl. Smart, sexy, and loves sports.

Hmmm doesn't sound like he is good friends with Kessel really off the ice.

O well. As long as they continue to score I don't really care if they hate each other even.

The opposite viewpoint would suggest that the more money you make, the more entitlement you have to go out and spend that money on enjoying yourself.

People make too much of the partying to be honest - Fortune 500 companies have key employees on massive salaries, who still go out and enjoy themselves.

If it doesn't effect your play and your performance, then you can go out as much as you like.

Slightly unrelated but I used to go out during University a lot, even though I was taking a full course load and working 35 hours a week. I managed to get everything done and graduated with honors; like I said, if you can balance it and find time for both, then there are no issues with it. If you can't though, and it effects your performance, then that's where the issues arise.

Oh, and the Spanish National soccer team are labelled as some of the biggest party animals in world sport.

They are also world champions.

It's always about finding a balance.

i like lupul a lot and hope he wants to stick around.

i'm very picky about girls but alyonka is legit attractive for sure. that said, she does seem like a ****/escort to whichever NHL player wants to hangout with her. but if there's gonna be one she's a dandy!

I think you're extrapolating a bit much here.

I find it hard to believe that anyone who's not a teenage girl would find that piece interesting

one thing i've noticed is that after the whistle players rarely take shots at lupul
considering he drives to the net and plays hard you'd think he'd get in way more scuffles

i've even seen it where a player turns to do something, then sees its him and then nothing happens. or in scrums he'll grab someone and they won't really fight with him

So, anyone interested in learning a bit about the personal lives of the players they cheer for must either be a girl or gay?

Wow.

I think I'll give you guys the shaking head smiley.

Let's mature those attitudes just a bit ok.

Latent homosexuality only gives you about a 2 on the Kinsey scale. No big deal.

Lupul use to be a playboy in Philly, you can tell. But now he seems more reserved. Must be the fact that he's having a great season.

FYI: Alyonka is a bad interviewer. She was terrible.

Agree. Reeks of achieving whatever she has with her dad's good name and her blonde hair. Very little substance.

That's not the only thing they talked about in that interview and you know it.

I do find it cool to know more about the players on the Leafs, if you dont then cool whatever. I'm not sure where the need for childish name calling comes in.

That was actually one of her better pieces I think but that's not saying much

Yes she's an attractive girl and I'm sure she's very nice and has a great personality but she doesn't seem very natural in front of the camera. She was horrible at the Draft and all she had to do was read Tweets and remind people to use hashtags or whatever you call them when tweeting. She fumbled all of her lines. She doesn't need to go full on 'cabbie' like in her interviews but you can't have a great interview if you don't have a host with an engaging personality. She seems to get along with a lot of the players so it would seem she does have a great personality but it just doesn't translate well on camera.
