We didn't deserve to win tonight, not because they were so great but because we played like ****. Anyway yesterday were supposed to be our 2 points. Well, we are even.
Does anyone detest the idea of having Christensen/Wolski on our 4th line? We only play our 4th line 5-7 minutes a night. It's worth having those two aces in the pocket for these kind of situations. These shootout points are huge, and we are a team I'm not confident in at all in the shootout.
No, because they'd cost us a regulation win for every shootout win they'd give us.
There's no shootout in the postseason. If you can win the division while losing most of the shootouts that's OK.
Richards' job is to make his linemates better and set up scoring chances. He does neither.
He's always in shoot-first mode. The guy looked like a magician the first 20 games of the season. Now he's playing like he knows he's got a world class goalie with a great defense, and basically swings for the fences every play.
Easily the worst overall season Richards has had in his career.
Watching Richards struggle makes me appreciate Gaborik even more.
He's the only high-profile FA this team has signed who brings the goods.
Well, we sucked and walked away with 2 points. Makes up for last night. How lame was Richards' shootout attempt? These guys are NHL players but they look like PeeWees in shootouts. 3 points out of 4 is OK though.
There should be no poll here for the first star of the game.
There should also be no shootouts.

Henrik Lundqvist, full of grace.
D. Hasek is with thee.
Blessed art thou among men,
and blessed is the fruit of thy performance,
glove saves.
Henrik Lundqvist, stopper of pucks,
pray for Brad Richards,
now and at the hour of his buyout.
Amen.
