If Leafs decide to play the disciplined style of hockey they have been playing lately, Reimer might be the go to guy.

PS: Gustavsson's save % at even strength is 0.914 (for comparison).

So, same ol' question again. Who starts against Ottawa?
EDIT: Oops, just realised there is already a poll started.

And how many starts has Reimer had compared to the above goaltenders you mentioned? Its a very small sample size for those numbers to be compared 4 starters. This kid is slowly becoming the most overrated prospect the leafs have had in a while. Half a season of solid play in a market like this and yall let the media brainwash you into thinking hes a capable starter. Hes as much a fraud of Jose calderon of the raptors. I've never said this but i hope we lose tomorrow...this kid needs to stay out of net.

We're in good shape should we win regardless, but if Ottawa loses tonight, we could tie them tomorrow and still have three games in hand. Let's go Isles!!!

Tied for points yes but we'd jump over them because of those games in hand.

So basically we want

Isles
Sens

Jets
Panthers

victories tonight?

We might be torn about the panthers, but I'm all for immediate help. we need jets to flush all the way down the toilet.

can we please drop this 'who starts in net' argument?

it's been decided. there was a whole thread about it, that went on and on. again, it's decided.

it's the pgt of the sens game and reimer will be in net.

let's live with it.

you can whine after the game.

Much rather face the Panthers than Ovie in the playoffs

i don't know. i thought we did better against the caps. either way though, if the panthers do drop out, which i think most think will happen, i want the jets to be so far down to not even warrant a back glance over the shoulder. right now we have three teams, 2 in the mix and 1 out. i'd say let the out be even further out and let the other two settle it.

Honestly, I don't care what happens to Florida/Washington scenario.

I just hope the Jets crash (which is going to happen, their road record sucks, and they just won 2 in a row on the road probably after 15 years )

As far as the Leafs go, I see their battle with Ottawa. We have 2 games in hand, and if the Isles manage to win we will have THREE in hand and we're just 2 points back.

At this point, I don't want to be concerned where the Leafs finish as long as it is in the top 8. Let's worry about playoff seeding in other years.

Honestly though, I don't think we should be concerned with the Islanders picking up points when playing the Sens. They only have 47 points.
