Blues now have a combined 10 shutouts, or 1/3 of their total wins. Crazy.

Very nice win. Halak was absolutely insane tonight with those saves. Wow.

And man being a Kings fan would sure be frustrating. Lots of talent but that team really cannot score...they are struggling to do so much worse than us.

Another big game tomorrow.

Kings fan come in peace.

Huge game by Halak and your defense. I was very impressed with the Blues. Definitely my dark horse team. Good luck the rest of the way.

Sorry about Arnott. Watching the LA feed you could see him on the ice say " It's my shoulder". Sucks.

Just got home from work, and according to people Halak had a monster game. Can't wait to watch the highlights.

Does this mean Halak starts tomorrow? It's a back to back, but I'm all for riding the hot goalie.

Doesn't look like Arnott has a concussion from that, or maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part. It did seem more like his shoulder area. Regardless I hope it's nothing really bad.

On another note, I'm paying more attention to lines lately, and I saw that Sobotka is with Oshie and Backes now, while Perron is with Stewart and Berglund? I like that. That gives Sobotka more opportunities, and maybe Perron will keep Stewie and Bergy on their game.

Huge win for The Blues!!! Scary how similar the Kings are to Blues with the amount of talent they have but have trouble scoring. They just like us have extremely good goaltending that can usually get them a win.

I thought the Perron/Berglund/Stewart line had a pretty good game. Eventually I would like to see McDonald slide onto that line with Perron playing with Backes and Oshie, though.

Yeah I think this solves the debate for who starts tomorrow. Jaro will go again and he should be fresh after that long break. And then Elliott Tuesday in Ottawa.

I agree, I thought it looked like the injury occurred when he hit the ice. By the time he slid into the boards he wasn't going too terribly fast. So, maybe his shoulder would make sense. That sucks but it wouldn't be as bad as a concussion.

If he separated his shoulder he could be out awhile, especially if it needs surgery. Could be done for the year if he needs surgery. There's only 8 weeks left in the regular season.

What's crazy to me is Halak and Elliott are flirting with stats that we haven't seen here since we had two of the best goalies ever(Hall and Plante) in net.

Who fills the 3rd line center role if Arnott is out? I'd like to think it's Sobotka...he's great at faceoffs and should have some added confidence from these last couple games. I would also think Grachev gets called up to give us some more options.

Apparently a bruised shoulder according to Strickland, and he's questionable for tomorrow night. Good news, but still a little worrisome.

Any injury that isn't long term is a huge relief. They're going to need Arnott in the playoffs more than any other vet.

That's what I think will happen also.

Got to think it's Sobotka, but honestly, I wouldn't mind giving McRae a look.

The Blues are getting close to having the same number of shutouts as Columbus has wins.

Blackhawks lose their 5th straight tonight in Calgary, a night after letting Sam Gagner post a snowman on them.

Leave Halaks first six games behind, he would be leading the leage in GAA (1.56) and SV% (.941)!
It's odd enough to see one of our players ranking top-5 in any staticts, but that way we'd have our goalies 1st and 2nd in GAA, 1st and 3rd in SV% and 3rd and 4th in shutouts...
