But then again, he's on pace for 9 points this game. Last game he got 8, and that means next game (leafs) he'll get 10.

He might get a couple, until Dion lays him out and he has to leave the game because he's got his stick poking out through his back.

It's a shame how some fans have already forgotten about Gustavsson cuz' of Reim's good two games. Pisses me off

Wtf Reimer has a 2.69 GAA and a .912 SV% ?

I swear before these two games he was at like over 3.00 GAA and under .900 ???

Just goes to show how sometimes stats aren't very telling.

Gus has been good this season. But Reimer was always going to be the #1.

Finally got a franchise player in nhl 12, he didn't have a franchise tag but is 84 overall and A, B, A potential.

All his offensive attributes except shooting are high 80's and has 90's in all athletic attributes.

Reimer, Reimer, gotta be startin' Reimer!

^ If he doesn't have a franchise tag he isn't a franchise player haha he's just a real high-end prospect.

Better than having a "franchise" player that start out 84 overall and have C potential

My RW depth is now:

Kessel (90)
Skinner (89)
Kaminsky (87)
Zlobin (84)
Terreri (84)

Thinking of trading Skinner and Kessel, their cap hits together come up to 14 mil which is a lot. I want to give my other guys more chances too.

You know how in the scouting menu it says "top 5" or "top 10", it says franchise instead, at least I think it does. It did in NHL10 but I haven't seen it since then.

If you go to Scouting Central under 'GM Options' in the menu on September 17th, it'll show you how the prospects stack up. They'll be marked '1st round', 'Top 10', 'Franchise', etc, etc. Players tend to rise and fall throughout the year, but a franchise player will always remain a franchise player.

Oh ok, so when you send scouts off to various leagues.

Weird, I've never seen anyone with that tag. I think the highest I've noticed is top 10.

I haven't had a franchise player unless my amateur scout tells me that there's a really good crop of prospects in the upcoming draft. Currently, I've had 2 or 3 years of "weaker than normal" prospects. Even so they're rare. Not everyone can be the next Gretzky

Never seen that before ahha. I've seen the "top 10" "top5" or whatever, but never franchise

I tried making my team not so good to give my own picks that panned out more chances but ended up acquiring Hall, RNH, Couturier and B Schenn.

Traded out Kessel, Skinner, Colborne and Locke

I want to trade them away but I just can't give them up for scraps, there's not much else to trade them for that helps me with the salary cap.

Benn (91) - Kadri (91) - Landeskog (88)
Hall (90) - RNH (90) - Kaminsky* (87)
Puempel (85) - Schenn (87) - Terreri* (84)
Sagen* (82) - Jenner (81) - Bisaillon* (81)

Hedman (94) - Schenn (92)
Lucic* (85) - Larsson (90)
Carlsson* (81) - Percy (85)

Bernier (92)
Stone* (80)

* - Drafted players.

Think I'm just going to start over again, it's not that fun anymore when you have a super-stacked team like this.

I came across a couple of franchise players in NHL 11. Never seen one in NHL 12.
