Forget another defenseman. Call someone up and trade for a goalie. We don't have a viable option at this point.
What? When did the sky start falling Mr Busch League?
Emery has good playoff statistics and very good statistics this year. I don't want Emery as my #1 next year, but He has a shot at it... Trade for a goalie glad you are a fan not a GM.
Crawford is done. He hasn't been terrible often, but tonight he was and he is starting to cost us points. Emery is my guy for 5-6 games. Crawfords still can be a solid backup he isn't Huet bad.
Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if Salak was gifted a call up when he finally comes off of IR. We've already seen how Bowman likes to call up his favorite young prospects.

If it's Ray's chance to shine, didn't exactly do himself any favors tonight.
Still think most of this is a by-product of a ****ty defense and a weak mentality. We just don't look like we want it anymore if we're down in the 3rd.
9 goals and 8 goals mostly the goalies faults....but defense quit in the 3rd period.
Quenneville needs to work them hard over the weekend. The last blowout 9 goals ok happens once every 5 years.... 2 blowouts in 2 months by a bad team. Burn these guys up at the next few practices.
He had to come in, after the momentum was lost, without warmup. You can't count it against him, you have to give him the next start and grade him from there.

Right - let's make sure they have dead legs for the last six of the roadie. Brilliant.
The thing that's so puzzling for me is that Crawford isn't really a strong reflex goalie. He relied on his positioning last year and had success. This year he's all over the place.

He's not very athletic at all, combine that with his rebound (like he's made of steel) hes like a robot. Which is why i call him Robo Corey .
When he's out of position, he's out of the play, which 9 out of 10 times ends up bad news for the Hawks. He's even like the only goalie in the NHL that a wrap around is usually either a real quality chance or a goal.
