Time for Ray to get chance

I have been one of Crawford's biggest backers but this game was pathetic by him

Give Emery the chance to take #1 job once and for all if he fails trade for Nabokov at deadline

Crawford has no excuses, the D played well tonight and he just **** the bed.

Give Ray the majority of the starts for the rest of the year. No need for Huet 2.0 to spoil our playoff hopes.

Forget another defenseman. Call someone up and trade for a goalie. We don't have a viable option at this point.

What? When did the sky start falling Mr Busch League?

Emery has good playoff statistics and very good statistics this year. I don't want Emery as my #1 next year, but He has a shot at it... Trade for a goalie glad you are a fan not a GM.

Crawford is done. He hasn't been terrible often, but tonight he was and he is starting to cost us points. Emery is my guy for 5-6 games. Crawfords still can be a solid backup he isn't Huet bad.

We left 2 points on the ice tonight.

Call up Carter Hutton

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if Salak was gifted a call up when he finally comes off of IR. We've already seen how Bowman likes to call up his favorite young prospects.

It's not last year anymore.

Remember when Emery won all the those starts in a row, and we all hoped it'd be the kick in the pants CC needed?

Apparently he didn't get the hint.

Emery is not going to help this team, neither is Crawford.

What an embarrassing performance. Pathetic.

You know...it may not have gotten to the point it did if Emery had started.

Remember how they lead 2-0, then CC gave up 3 softies. Could've been a much different game.

If it's Ray's chance to shine, didn't exactly do himself any favors tonight.

Still think most of this is a by-product of a ****ty defense and a weak mentality. We just don't look like we want it anymore if we're down in the 3rd.

9 goals and 8 goals mostly the goalies faults....but defense quit in the 3rd period.

Quenneville needs to work them hard over the weekend. The last blowout 9 goals ok happens once every 5 years.... 2 blowouts in 2 months by a bad team. Burn these guys up at the next few practices.

That's the whole point!

He had to come in, after the momentum was lost, without warmup. You can't count it against him, you have to give him the next start and grade him from there.

Right - let's make sure they have dead legs for the last six of the roadie. Brilliant.

Tuned it off after the 7th goal, but 6 and 7 were both pretty nice goals that got past him, 7th one was especially pretty.

Ya, they did. Leddy looked especially bad to me too in the 3rd.

I don't blame Emery for those goals. The defense hung him out to dry. Crawford was hung out to dry, but the softies killed us.

We should just be lucky the RNH wasn't in there either too or the score may have been higher.

I feel bad for Emery. He has a respectable record but when, honestly, when do you hand the reigns over to "other" guy fully?

The thing that's so puzzling for me is that Crawford isn't really a strong reflex goalie. He relied on his positioning last year and had success. This year he's all over the place.

Emery should have never lost the starting job earlier in the season to begin with. He has been better than Crawford since about game 10 of the season.

He's not very athletic at all, combine that with his rebound (like he's made of steel) hes like a robot. Which is why i call him Robo Corey .
When he's out of position, he's out of the play, which 9 out of 10 times ends up bad news for the Hawks. He's even like the only goalie in the NHL that a wrap around is usually either a real quality chance or a goal.
