We need to play the Blackhawks like 82 times a season.

Our kids would break all of the Gretzky's records

Kobe Bryant's 81 or Sam Gagner's 8...which is better?

Both amazing in today's games.

Proud to say I was there.
Also proud to say I started, and was a big part of, multiple "crawwwwwwford" chants.
Hell, I almost took a picture for Replacement of the crowd to see how many seats weren't empty!
Whatta night. Best game I've ever been to!

It's unreal what Whitney and Barker's stretch passes do for this team's offence. Stay healthy the rest of the year, guys.

Hall-Gagner-????

Just need to fill in the ????? With some players with size/skill/physical players

Hopefully PRV / pitlick / Hamilton can straighten out there games and fill in the question marks
RNH and ebs have chemistry ...maybe hall and gags as well could be a nice combo....then put all the eggs in one basket for he pp, but split them up to make it harder to shut down just 1 line.

Just read through the Game-Day-Thread, wow I'm just speechless. If Gagner gains consistency, the Oilers will have a great 1-2 punch in RNH and Gagner. Historical performance, absolutely speechless and I speak for all hockey fans.

I think even the most conservative person can give Gagner a pass on a life style choice like that after tonight

Although it's an individual record tonight for Sam, this may be a sign that the worst is behind this franchise, and we are on a steady up & up from now on.

Tough to say, but Kobe scored 81 on the Raptors, who are basically a borderline WNBA team.

Then again for some reason we make the Blackhawks look like a ringette team whenever we play them at Rexall. Crawford must have some problem with the colors blue and orange.

His 81 were against the Raptors....so take it with a grain of salt.

you see, this is what i just don't get.... why the HELL can't horcoff move to the wing? he could still stake faceoffs if that is the reason.... even though it's not really a good reason as horcoff and gagner have almost the exact same faceoff % this year, but i will admit horcoff takes the harder draws... why is horcoff still this teams defacto 2nd line center, when he is absolutely TERRIBLE? i'm not saying gagner is the cats pajamas after one big game, but he's clearly better than horcoff at 75% of the game at this point

horcoff is a veteran and should be able to make the transfer fairly easily you would think

Hopefully this can be a bit of a turning point for Gagner and he picks up his game to be a consistent secondary threat. Unbelievable game. So happy to have watched this live. ****in eh.

I'm a Raptors fan so I actually watched both games live. Gagner was awesome but Kobe's game was on another level.

When Gilbert and RNH get back, we might actually be pretty decent.

Does Gagner HAVE to be the center? I'd argue that LW - Grigorenko - Gagner could utilize Gagner's skills just as well.

At any rate, it's a great problem to have.

Incredible game by Gagner.

Oilers have the Hawks number. That is for sure. Didn't you guys whoop them severely at the beginning of the season as well?

I'm so happy for Sam that I, too, got a little emotional on the 8th point.

Tonight the little, slow man gets to be king of the world. KING OF THE WORLD! 8 points in one game is just so completely ridiculous. He was dishing and finishing. Completely nuts. People will talk about it for years.

But it can't be lost in the shuffle how dirty Hall and Eberle were in the third. Dirty, dirty boys... As the Oilers poured it on the moves got more and more mindblowing. Those last two goals were so dirty. I'm so excited, I'm going to watch highlights all night.

On the minus side, screw Hemsky-Horcoff-Smyth. Leave that crap together on the 3rd line and don't let them contaminate the other lines. Holy cow they were complete junk tonight. Especially Smyth and Horc. Hemsky tries, you can tell he wants to roll like Eberle, Hall and RNH but he's not those guys. His body's not there anymore and he doesn't have the hockey sense of those guys.

We are just a couple points out of not being in the bottom 5, perhaps people should put the Grigorenko talk on hold

DING DING DING! We have a winner!

Of course Gagner isn't going to be an elite 1st line center, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with this guy being our 2nd line center.

Trade Gagner for a good top 4 d-man and who do we have playing 2nd line C?

Horcoff? *Puked guts out*
Belanger? *Blows head off*
Lander? *Takes some meds*
Pitlick? *Starts watching reruns of "Days of our lives"
