So what's the over/under on Timmy Connolly's next injury these days? Guy seems like he's slacking. Time to bring up Joey Colborne me thinks.

hope we keep it up.

having said that, tuesday's game is more important, but it's in the peg and they've played very good there. so we definitely need to win the oiler game because i think we're more likely to lose in winnipeg.

Wasn't too long ago that HF was saying the Leafs will fall before the Oil, ah how that seems like an eternity now. Go Leafs Go.

Gotta win in the tough buildings. Reimer has to start that game, IMO. He played really well in a game where the pk went 0 for 3 on the night. Walking out of that game w/ a .914 sv% was nothing short of a miracle. The joke? The fact he only had 2 starts after that, the entire month of January.

This is going to be a tough game, the Oilers have some great young talent.

With that said, it is a winnable game, and we need to be getting points out of these kind of games to stay in the hunt. A few bad losses will put us in trouble down the stretch.

Winnable game. I think the Kessel line will have another great showing, vs Oilers.

Every game is "winnable" if the team plays well, it's a redundant statement.

Watched the last period of the wings oilers last night.

Should be an exciting game, they are young, fast and have a good transition game. Eberle is deadly in the last minute of a game.

Their defense can be imposed upon though, and they will be traveling out here.

The Gagner hangover should kick in nicely by Gametime.

It's not a joke? Gustavsson was playing out of his mind and when Reimer did start, he disappointed.

I hate to do this to ya TMLG, but it's versus, not verses bud... unless you mean that the Leafs have created lyrical verses about the Oilers...

Montreal fans along with a majority of HF also thought it was crazy to think that the Leafs would finish ahead of Montreal.

If we hold Gagner to under 5 pts we should be good

Get ready for a track meet! Can Reimer get his 3rd straight shutout?

They just took out Chicago and Detroit. Not a small accomplishment. They'll be rolling into town on cloud 9. Our defense has been much better the last month so lets hope we can shut down Eberle and the rest of the young bunch.

Yep, gotta stay disciplined, their PP is lethal lately; 2 PP goals against Detroit last night, no small feat.

Just want to add if it hasn't been said already, The booing the Leafs endured allstar weekend was noticable in the way we played.

Led by Phil Kessel, Lupul's gameface, and Captain Dion. These guys made a statement!

They led, produced, set the tone from the outset. Don't want to toot my own horn, hell why not. But I said Friday this team's core was Phil, Lupes, Dion and James Reimer. It augers well for Leafs fans how these 4 played in the biggest game of the year and for the rest of the team to follow. I think Coby said they were aware of the boos from Senator fans and were aware of our cheers by those that drove the 401 east for the game.

Well done boys, very proud today.

A win here would be amazing considering the circumstances, new jersey is likely to win today barring they don't collapse against the pens, but it would put us ahead of ottawa with two games in hand.
