Rupp playing with a broken finger/thumb/ whatever...but if it affects his ability to scrap he may as well sit home and watch the game on TV and let somebody play that can contribute .

Bourque is struggling big time in the AHL... so much so that you have to question whether he can sustain even a minor league pro career. He should get another year with the Whale at least, but it doesn't make sense at all to call him up now. Both Newbury & Deveaux at this point in time have been far more productive than Bourque has been even just from an offensive standpoint.
