  • NYR alt 2: The white looks pretty good, IMO. The off-white Does Not Work as a primary jersey color.
  • Minnesota v2: Twelve million times better, although I'm not sure about the maroon sleeve stripes on the home sweater. Oh, and the darker green is better IMO.
  • Pittsburgh v2: Much better match for the team IMO. The middle sleeve stripes (white on home, black on away) are a bit too close to the numbers, though.
  • Boston alts: Mmm. Shiiiiny. Definitely only OK as alternates, tho.
  • Tampa Bay v2: Interesting treatment with the logo, although I'm not totally sure if it works as well. As it is the wordmark helps it, but maybe with a few tweaks (such that the logo is the same on both sweaters) it could stand on its own. Of course, that may just be a fevered dream of mine.
  • Florida v2: Ow. It's sleeve stripes OR elbow stripes, not both. I know Florida does that right now, but I don't care for it. In Florida's case, I'd go with the elbow stripes and bring back that "pointy" shoulder yoke they used to have. The alternate, by contrast, is very very nice.
Thanks for your detailed feedbacks, I appreciate that!

You sir are right with every point you made! I'm not happy with that Wings concept at all. But there aren't many logos and only two colors to use, so it's not that easy to make a decent concept.

Tweaked the alternate:

A big no on the Wings...don't mess with that logo. The Bruins need the spoked B also. The alt logo is just that an alt logo.

Two posts above, I said that I know that the Wings concept sucks (try to read, man...). And the Bruins concept IS for alternate jerseys (as written in the picture).

Heh. I prefer the alternate's shoulder yoke style on the home and away as well. I don't think sleeve stripes works for Florida, personally. But I'm weird like that.

Those could work. I'm kind of iffy on the asymmetrical shoulder patches, but that's mostly 'cause I don't care for the "NP" mark.

I will say this: I think you should just keep NYR alternates what they are, the heritage for the O6 and the white liberties, but how they were in 1999.

Not going to go through all the replies but....

Liked :

Habs Alt2
Caps Home
Kings: I liked what you did with all 3
Panthers Alt : I like this one

Did not like:

Habs Alt - but if those were the original colors then I would give it a pass

Overall I would say a very good job over all...If I was grading this like a school assignment I would give you a 93%

You just need a little more differentiation with the strips between the clubs (like you made the Sens different with that pattern)

EDIT: just noticed you did some updating - this review was from your original post...AND HEY ! BRING BACK THOSE YELLOW SHIRT/RED SHORT FLORIDA ALTERANTIVES ! LOL

Makes us look even more Team America than we already do. But it works nicely. Maybe one too many stripes on the sleeve-length striping "border"; I'd switch it from white-red-white (home) and red-white-red (away) to just white-red (both). But now I'm nitpicking.

I had a touch of "inspiration" (read: I need to go to bed ) and came up with an "Original Third" treatment of this setup. (See: http://nhluniforms.com/BlueJackets/BlueJackets02.html for the original I'm referring to.) The cap patch ended up a bit too large, but, well

Love the Nucks alternate, don't like the logo on the home and away though.

Would be cool to see a Devils third with some green in it.
