While it's nice to be able to watch a Kings game on a real TV when it isn't OMG late at night for a change, what are the odds that this was the weekend that they MANDATED that I fly home for 3 days after 2 months in Charlotte, NC?

And if we were playing Thermonuclear War that would matter to me.

I understand Dean's being concerned with center depth behind Kopitar, after last year. But losing Simmonds hurt. He had good speed, good talent, and a physical edge to his game. All things we need. Luckily we have Clifford, who could step into that role. But I can see Dean trading him for Carter & touting the re-unification of Richards & Carter. Two guys who didn't get it done in Philly. I hope he doesn't.

So yeah, Did anyone else notice the clock lockup for about a tenth of a second about 10-12 times in the final minute? Watch it if you have it on your DVR.
