I didn't like Ryan even when we were winning. Snark at that, fanboy.

Imagine if we gave Getzlaf, Perry, or Ryan a 10 year deal. We would be stuck with them forever.

Sportsmanship? Owning up to their mistakes? I'm not good at this game.

No more goons. Right now we sort of manboob it up at the end of games. Because they're a bunch of soft flabby manboobs, you see.

I think they actually have some decent toughness but play like scared kids.

Which of them is tough? Parros is a gentleman. Even in the good old big bad days, George never started anything like a brawl as retribution for losing - frankly that isn't his role. He's the police, not the outlaw. So who else is there?
Other than Beauchemin and Brookbank, there's no one on the team who could conceivably win fights consistently, let alone start them. Pelley? No. Beleskey and Sbisa will fight, but it's not really instinctual for them.

Why would they goon up games they are winning or tied in? And the players who were on the ice in overtime aren't going to start anything. Not sure where this discussion is coming from.
And what's with all the wanting a fight? You don't start fights while winning, and they were already dominating play after the game was tied. The only likely tactical benefit of any fight would be to hand Columbus the momentum when whoever steps in to take Parros's fight gets his ass beat.

Yeah it's easy to watch a # on the ice and point out minute flaws.
Define "fanboy" for me and detail how I am one.

1) Yeah, it is.
2) We have VERY different definitions of the word "minute."

Been a long week for both of us, but we're still up and kicking. Looks more and more like we're sleeping in, and skipping the "skill" competition tomorrow.

11 points out, 31 games left.
Amazing how fast people go all chicken little. Still a lot of games to play. It's not like anyone in the 7-12 slots is lighting it up right now.

Do realize this team you're talking about just loss to the Columbus ****ing Blue Jackets.

I think DVM's point is that between this game, and the last one, not a whole lot has changed. They even got a point out of the game tonight.
