10-0 Canucks.
Bitz with 10 goals, 5 assists. (he's just that good)

^ Assisting on his own goals? Nice. Expectations have been raised

Geez, I'm gonna have to set my alarm to get up in time for this game

Is that a prophecy from the witch? I'm going to go ahead and call it such.

That one is all Nuckles

So does it count that she called an injury for the Chicago game and Higgins couldn't play the game after against Detroit?

Just because we have dominated Colorado the last couple meeting doesn't mean we can take them lightly. I'm personally dissapointed with our D the last couple games.

No Higgins in the line-up could hurt us. Kesler seems to click better when he's got Higgins on his line.

This is our chance to put up a good, concise game. Hope we see better transition play and less sloppiness from our defense. Oh, and more Sedin magic.

E: Is this the game where Ballard will get a try as a forward? Seeing Malhotra play with Hodgson and Hansen makes me sad.

Not sure why Malhotra moves up, he should be on the 5th line instead of the 3rd.

Agreed. Much rather Ballard draws in on that 3rd with Sulzer in on D.

Exactly, having Malhotra there will destroy any offense from the third line. I just hope we play a decent game, the last two have been worrisome

We definitely cannot take them lightly. They actually outplayed us for 2 periods last time we went head-to-head. But somehow, the score ended up being 6-0.

I would like to see lappy on the third.

And man watching Raymond on the 2nd line was pretty upsetting last game. The play kept dying on his stick and just couldn't handle his own along the boards.

Lots of doom and gloom on the Avs board. I didn't realize they were struggling so much. Canucks need a good morale boost, no better time than now.

Well, here's to hoping the boys have another one of those players-only meetings. Wins aside, the ship's been listing badly since beating Boston. Need to get things back on the right course, and pronto.

Looking forward to seeing Bitz.

Also looking forward to seeing the Canucks in sparkling-clear HD. Finally joined the 21st century and got the HD hookup to go with my awesome cool new tv, looted from Best Buy during the carnage of Boxing Day. It's funny, after I got the package deal with Shaw with phone, HDTV and broadband modem, Telus called us about 3 days later and basically begged us to come back with a new deal. Their new deal sucks though.

Bye, Telus. Hello, Canucks games in HD.

Hello, Canucks victory on Saturday morning.

4-1. Sedins wake up, Bitz skates around looking lost, Burrows with the winner. Avs with useless late goal.

How about this? At least it keeps Manny on the 4th line:

Dank - Hank - Burrows
Booth - Hodgson - Kesler
Raymond - Lapierre - Hansen
Bitz - Malhotra - Weise

Lapierre has shown good chemistry with Hodgson. So of course AV puts Malhotra on his line instead
