Vancouver actually got to Denver? There were 600+ flights canceled yesterday.

Avs usually do better than expected vs good teams. I expect Avs to jump out to a surprising 3-1 lead by the early 2nd, then let it slip through our grasp 5-3.

No way we win unless we get 300+ from G2P again

Isn't it snowing pretty heavily in Denver? I'm doubting he'll be able to make it.

Yeah, the Denver Metro area was under a blizzard watch/warning yesterday. My family was telling me that it was supposed to snow until about 10am today and then stop. When I talked to them yesterday evening, they had about 1.5 feet of snow (SW Metro area). And the airport and roads leading back to the city during/after snowstorms are BRUTAL. No way he would make it to today's game.

Hmm oh well, still stoked to see him play, hopefully they mention it
on the telecast and give us more of an idea of whose hurt or whatever.
Could be a trade coming up...about friggin time.

Considering the team's offensive woes, I think it is poor organization planning to have niether Elliot or Barrie in the lineup today.

I guess we can expect ill-timed pinches and rushes from Hejda and O'Brien today (aka, lots of turnovers and odd man rushes).

It's not snowing anymore. Sun's out now. Proly ended up with about 20" down here in tRock.

I'm really surprised Vancouver was able to get in, unless they came in really late Thursday night and just beat the worst of it.

The weather probably has a lot to do with it. Unless they called him up Thursday morning, there was no way he was getting a domestic flight into DIA yesterday.

Hey guys.

Just a little lineup info from our end: Higgins in out sick with something, Booth is a GTD with a sore neck. Rumoured answer? Ballard might be up on the 3rd line as a forward along with Byron Bitz making his debut with the Canucks after a few weeks of conditioning in the AHL. Our 3rd line could end up as: Bitz-Malhotra-Ballard.

Come for the hockey game, stay for the circus.

Wow, you guys are pretty pessimistic about this game. I don't blame you guys, but the Canucks haven't been playing great either, so who knows what will happen.

Goodness I hope so. I am so sick of my best friend's BF chirping me throughout the entire game about how much Stastny "sucks". And now that Duchene is not playing today, they will have nothing positive to say about the Avs (my Vancouver friends absolutely adore him).

PROVE THEM WRONG!!!

The good part about Elliott being sent down and Barrie not playing is that Sacco will have to put EJ on the top PP unit..........right?

Or will Quincey play on the top unit and then take an idiotic penalty 10 secs later to take us off the PP? Or better yet, will O'Brien play on the top unit and try to dangle past all four Canuck penalty killers by himself?

So many possibilities with Sacco running the show........

He's already played a career high games in one season. Besides I'm thinking that Jiggy is going to get the next few games then they'll let Varly loose down the stretch. In other words, wait till the very last moment to play Varly then let him play till he collapses.
