Well.. Effort was there, at least to some extent. Just got beat by a better team.
A lot of posters here are comparing this to the Columbus 1-0 game. Well, I was at that game, and there is no comparison...St. Louis is on fire, and they showed why tonight.
Why don't some of you start giving credit where credit is due? I am convinced St. Louis is elite and may very well go deep into the playoffs...sure would rather have them than ****ing Detroit or ****ing Vancouver.
**** the points, its the gameplay, lokti plays an all around better game then the old turd.
we watch complete different games
Gameplay? Loktionov has made maybe one nice pass all year. He bobbles the puck and shoots like my grandmother. Gameplay. ****.
As for this team, wow. Disheartening to say the least. I'm not sure why Quick would want to sign an extension here when letting in 1 goal means deep **** for his winning percentage. He and Clifford are the only guys that played worth a damn tonight. The worst part is it will take a miracle to get a win tomorrow after grinding out a 1-0 game tonight.
Yay, another no effort game by the LA Kings. I like this team too much to stop watching them, but this is getting so ****ing frustrating. Show up to a ****ing game and maybe they won't lose in a 1-0 shutout. At least this time the no effort 1-0 came against a decent team.
Blues fan coming in peace. I thought that was a pretty good game. Teams were even for most of it and Quick played really well.
Best of luck the rest of the way. I hope you guys make it in the playoffs. Always had a soft spot for the Kings as you guys are the only others who know our pain of the Stanley Cup drought.
I thought you guys were in for a long season after that 5-0 drubbing we gave you...Hitch sure turned it around...or maybe it was a coincidence or maybe Halak just had a bad first week, but St. Louis is very impressive.
The Kings just don't have it offensively, face it. Having only 4, if they're lucky 5 forwards who can ever get anything done on the offensive side is not exactly going to put too many crooked numbers on the board.
