Guess this isn't going to slow down the Nielsen to Buffalo proposals we have on here...

Now Darcy can say, "Well, Frans always performed well against us, that's why we overpaid him" after they sign Nielsen this summer.

What the heck are tonight's lines?

Leino-Roy-Poms

Staff-Ennis-Gerbe? (thought Cody was out with these guys originally)

Boyes?- Goose- ??

Ellis-Adam- Cody?

I'm confused. (So is the Sabres defensive game.)

Replay on goal 3 looks like Miller did not control the rebound and no one covered the shooter - that's unacceptable at NHL level.

****. ****. ****. ****.

I left Frans Nielsen on my bench today. I plugged in Roy for him tonight like three hours ago because I'm a flaming moron.

I guess I should have included a stat for when the Sabres allow 3+ goals ... ... it's probably at 3-22-4 or thereabouts.

Outshot them 17-9 that period. Bad teams find ways to lose games. This Sabres team seems to know them all.

Gotta go with "wide, wide open" Danny.

The whistle signals that it's TV timeout time. Nice touch.

Does Miss Rachel literally not sweat anymore? Is she now reptilian? How does she stay cool? Very creepy, if you ask me.

Whistle is the jingle for P.C. Richards electronics store on Long Island.
This game is bizarre.

On that third goal, Miller tried to poke it out of danger since he couldn't smother it. Just went in a poor direction. That's the one mistake he made that period.

Ain't laying blame at Miller's feet for all those goals. But rebound control is his responsibility. Just didn't happen this time. Back check control on shooter is the team in front of him. 2nd opportunities will kill you near every time.

It seems like those bad goals took away any confidence they might have had. So mentally soft.

i dated that girl in high school and took her to my senior prom. as far as i am aware, she is not reptilian. also she is suing the doctor's office who is running that commercial because she only agreed for her testimony to be shown to prospective patients, not to be aired 10 times during every sabres game.

You know..... I've been rooting for Luke Adam for a while now but he just isn't showing anything.

He needs to recover his game.... maybe a trip to Rochester would help rebuild his confidence.
