By important you mean ensuring we wind up last in the East right?

Oh great idea. Carolina would then trade Gill for a 2nd and Moen for a 2nd. Gionta can't be traded.

The worst part is that we'll prolly get a 6-7 game winning streak somewhere in the next weeks to make us finish 10th'ish lol

Giving them Gill would make them worse.

Sweat sweat loss!!

Guys played hard, they showed up for this game but its not evident mentally when you know you are gonna miss the playoffs.. One passenger that stood out tonight was A.Kost, what a disgusting effort.. Unbelievable..

Emelin is becoming an intouchable to me, the kid has improved hugely this season and is becoming a very solid top 4 defenseman.. I just love how he plays the game..

I think they must be upstairs snorting something. We are in such a mess and we are such a joke that it makes me question the sanity of the guys at the top. Do they even give a ****!!!!!

I haven't calculated the odds but I think finishing 10th in the East is pretty much out of reach now...

Our pro scouting is the league's worst. Sadly people will try to blame Timmins but his drafting had this team competing between 2003-11 and then ****** GMs and pro scouting ruined it. Without Timmins, we'd be where Edmonton is: relying on top 3 draft picks year after year. I'm starting to wish Gainey had stepped away sooner. Gauthier is even worse in his trading but at least this year he started to realize we need dirtier goal scoring, a bigger team. If we can infuse scoring talent like Yakupov onto a team like ours, look out. Sure we lack any gamebreaking forwards but IMO what really needs work is the D. That thing's in shambles and Price is going to have to be Grant Fuhr circa 1988 to withstand the onslaught of scoring chances he'll face.

Where's Jacques Martin?

Where are the haters?

We would problably be at least close the playoffs with him.(maybe even in the playoffs)

20 games into his coaching career, Randy Cunneyworth is 6-12-2, giving him a full-season points pace of 57.4 points.

Obviously this is a small sample, so the following comparison must be taken with a generous helping of salt, but nevertheless: only two teams in the cap era, the Blues in 05-06 (57 points) and the Flyers in 06-07 (56 points), have maintained a worse pace over 82 games.

If there is a new reform it will come with a new head coach. Don't really need to tinker with the roster too much, besides adding our 1st overall pick next year.

everyone getting excited for nail, grigs or forsberg. what are the guarantees any of these guys pan out? are they can't miss?
this team needs much more than a top pick...it needs to remodel the team...get rid of the passengers, find a gritty 4th line, and if not a big scoring center than at least a big gritty center
