They did pretty well in March when we won all those games without toews.

I don't get all this hate for our players...

and Jayes won't and shouldn't play over Bruno in the POs. We already have enough rookies in the lineup

I really don't care how young or old a player is. As long as they perform. And Bruno has not been performing.

I doubt we could trust Jayes in a pressure situation yet. You've seen the rookie mistakes that cost us game 1 in the end and nearly cost us game 2 in OT with a bad Krüger turnover

He will be in if Shaw, a rookie, is suspended. Experience is only as worth while as the skills that accompany it. And vice vera.

yep, shaw is rookie as is Krüger. That's enough when you have experienced guys that are as good or better than the rookies. I'd dress Frolik over Jayes. He has played at least a handful of PO games

You know who'd be a good replacement? I like Tony Granato. Hometown guy, from DG like me, you know he'd love to coach the Chi-Hawks. Shall I phone the Penguins and seek their consent?

No thanks. He has failed in both his tries as head coach.

Well the team won last night, so I can't come in here shouting about firing Q.

But there's always next time.

Tony Granato could not possibly be any less of a "good replacement."

Guy is an absolutely terrible HC.

Also, the fact that this thread is still going speaks to how ridiculous the knee-jerk reactions are on here. But in fairness, that's true for every fanbase.

If Pittsburgh gets swept Bylsma better hand in his resignation letter, as well as Q firing Kitchen. Bylsma as an assistant, or Q as assistant with Bylsma as head = God.

Well the Hawks were 5 seconds from being down 2-0 in the series. Many people feel like the Hawks core is top 2-3 in the NHL, and they haven't delivered as such the past 2 seasons.

this.

Hawks core is as good as anyone's and they got some improved play by depth guys this year. There's no reason our special teams should be this bad either.

if he Q does get Saad in time for game #3...I want to see how he misuses...err I mean uses him. Q is very slow with putting the kids in the right positions, he still puts Shaw all over the place despite him being one of our best players the past few weeks.

I think Saad suits up for game #4, but I pray he gets top 6 minutes from the start and see how he handles it...drop him down if he cant handle it, but he cant be any worse then Brunette or Frolik

Has frolik even played in the PO's yet?

either way, brunette should not be dressing under any circumstance

Decent chance Shaw will be suspended for game 3 (as wrong as it is, but they dont usually make hearings for family fun). Saad might fill in for him there.

I know you are not supporting it...but I just cant fathom Shaw getting suspended and Shea Weber rams a head of the glass violently and gets nothing.

Milbury just said Shaw's hit was not intentional..but he did get hit in the head...Milbury doesnt think he will get suspended, but Keith Jones said he will get 1 game for his hit right or wrong..

screw you Keith Jones...and for once I love Mike Milbury!!1 hahahah, havent said that in a long long time

I don't understand why everyone hates Mike Milbury? I think he's an entertaining commentator. So he was a bad gm...he isn't doing our draft picks, so who cares lol.
