Both, the Finnish SM-liiga and the Swedish Hockey League got new TV contracts this year.
SHL signed a 4-year deal(2014/15-2017/18) with C More/TV4 reportedly worth ~325M SEK(~49M USD) a year. idrottensaffarer.se
SM-liiga signed a 5-year deal(2013/14-2017/18) with Sanoma Media/Nelonen and according to Savon Sanomat newspaper every team will receive between 900k-1.1M Euros(1.1M-1.4M USD) of TV money a year. savonsanomat.fi
SHL is a 12-team league, while SM-liiga is a 14-team league. SM-liiga is also going to lose arguably its most popular team after next season when Jokerit are scheduled to leave for the KHL.
KHL signs tv-deals on behalf of all clubs, no KHL club has right to sign own deal. I think that the same scheme is in SHL/SM-Liiga??
Different is that KHL does not share tv-money with clubs, all tv-money goes to KHL HQ. Many reasons why KHL does it. KHL is going to share tv-revenues with clubs in near future. IMO clubs with bigger ratings get more money from tv-deals. We have to wait for details.
any word if jokerit leaving will affect the tv contract though?
I haven't found any info on that, but you would think so. Losing a big market club that has a strong following around the nation and those popular Helsinki derby games, is obviously going to have a negative effect on viewership/subscriber figures.

Yeah, but I think that $3M is from the contract with a local broadcaster(FOX Sports Ohio?). The league also has massive national US and CAN TV deals and the money from those deals is equally distributed between teams. SHL and SM-liiga only have exclusive national TV deals.

Yes thats all. Problem is, on TV usually there is football, football,...
No big money left to spend on other sports for the tv-stations.
But the DEL (and the fans) are happy with it because when Sky announced they were not going to extend their contract it was highly questionable if there will be another tv-station signing a deal anyway.
team budgets in the DEL are around 4million up to 8million, so 250k isnt that bad.
