There is no freakin' way Anaheim would trade last seasons MVP of the entire league for peanuts.
And I'm sorry but the players you are suggesting here are really peanuts.
Parenteau will be a UFA in a few months. If they would want him they can just wait for him to be a UFA.
This has to be the most unrealistic trade proposal EVER.
It would take 3 or 4 first round draft choices and propably even a prospect or two to get Perry to Islanders. Unless Islanders would be interested in giving Tavares, and they sure wouldn't.
This would work out for both teams because Perry not performing well is taking a large part of the Ducks Salary, If John Tavares would have a teammate to play with apart from Moulson imaginbe the possibilities, this sounds like something that would help both teams, i do understand it would help the Islanders more, but I am a Islanders fan
This is about as lopsided as if the Leafs, in their never ending quest for John Tavares, offered Clarke MacArthur and a 1st as a package going the other way. Would you make that deal? Your answer to that question (and whatever profanity it includes) is likely the same as the Ducks' answer to your proposal.
Also, Perry's on pace for 35 goals this year. No, it's not quite matching his Hart trophy winning season last year, but it's hardly bad production. In fact, that's about on par with what he regularly produces.
All in all, this trade helps one team. And that's certainly not the Ducks.

I would think a trade for Perry (if it had to include PAP as is) would have to also include the first from this year, one of Okposo, Grabner, or Nino, a D prospect (Donovan or deHann) and some other pieces. I could also see Garth wanting to get some D back in the deal, considering he rarely pulls the trigger on deals, I could see him wanting to get everything done at once. In a nutshell it would have to be a blockbuster deal.
To ANA:
Parenteau
2 of Okposo/Grabner/Nino/Bailey
Donovan/Dehann
2012 1st (Perhaps a lesser pick if its say Grabner & Nino rather than Grabner & Bailey)
To NYI
Perry
Lydman
Personally, I don't think I'd do that deal, its close, but I don't think I pull the trigger. Perry's a nice addition but the cost would probably be too much.

Oh wow! I thought this was for Bobby Ryan, not Corey Perry. Someone drank his slow juice this morning.
Someone help me here, did the Ducks hire Milbury as their GM recently?
In the future, only post proposals that have more than a snowball's chance in hell of actually happening. Free agent scraps plus a draft pick wouldn't get you one of the league's best scoring forwards in a video game, much less reality.
We rob them in this deal, they're not giving up that much for an okay goaltender. They'd trade a 3rd rounder max for one of our goaltenders, without involving extra pieces.
