Is Pekka Rinne Human?

Or is he an alien that was sent back in time to play goalie for the Nashville Predators? His performance tonight was incredible. I literally think we are going to win every game that he plays.

It's the mask, isn't it?

Works in a way similar to the Half-Life headcrab.

Still don't understand why he wasn't an Allstar. Best goalie in league

He went through a cold streak and a section of games when we may have won but his numbers weren't so good. People who don't see him on a day in day out basis would only be looking at the stats...and they weren't that good when the votes were being cast. Even now, just going by stats alone he doesn't look as amazing as he is. He got some rest and got to go fishing with Toots...we probably benefited more from his not being named an All Star.

Besides, do we really want the opponents to see all his save tricks in the shoot out competition? I don't think so.

I got to see Pekka play for two years in Milwaukee. He was pretty amazing down here too. The team even named some dance music for him: The Pekka-rena!
