The Oilers are not a good team, but in their last 5 games they have wins over Detroit, Chicago, San Jose and Colorado, and a shootout loss to Vancouver. They're really hot right now, this won't be an easy win at all. We play them twice over the next 10 days, it'll be important to set the tone and rough them up.

Keep in mind all of those wins have been at home, and Detroit, Chicago especially have been very unimpressive on the road. The Oilers have been a pretty good home team, and a god awful road team, including one road win since the end of November.

With the Leafs playing pretty good at home this year, it would definitely be a big disappointment if they lost

Realistically, this is the game this week we can afford to lose or get a SOL/OTL. We need to beat the 'Peg in regulation. I doubt we beat the Flyers, and a win against the Habs is a must. I will be happy with 6/8 points.

Yep. If we play like we did the last week we should cause some serious problems for their defense.

Score the first goal, and then start playing smash mouth against the youngsters. Dress Rosehill, take out connolly.

Wilson needs to do something to wake up Connolly. Playing him with Lombardi and Crabb is making him worse. His game had been fine since until like 12 games ago.

the Kadri-Connolly-Mac line was really good imo ...

dont think we could break up the KGM line now though
