Kessel's career stats vs. the Oilers.

6GP 4G 2A 6PTS

He should extend his point total.

Game we should win. Will we? That depends on the effort from the boys. I think they'll get it done tomorrow. Need to play with playoff intensity until we have a spot clinched.

The guy whose number is going to the rafters on Saturday got his 1000th point against the Oilers.

The Oiler's road record is atrocious, 6-18-2.

Please win Leafs.

Feels like it's time for a regulation loss.

Who starts? Gustavsson, since Reimer is from Manitoba and wants to play in Winnipeg?

Id go Reimer against Oilers, Gus for Winnipeg. Reimer played in the Peg last time and IIRC he didnt play well. If Reimer gets another SO against the Oilers than I would probably start him again against the Jets, you dont bench a guy that hot.

Reimer struggled in Winnipeg last time because he was still coming back from his concussion and wasn't sharp. He's on his game atm and I see no reason not to start him in both games and get his feet under him.

I think he starts in Winnipeg for sure and might start against Edmonton.

Gus has been good too so Wilson shouldn't worry with either guy.

Oiler fan coming in peace.

Excited for the game! Should be a good one, both very talented teams. Honestly, the result is going to be a win-win situation for me. If the Oilers win, they win, if the Leafs win, they're that much closer to the playoffs (and hopefully taking the Sens out ) . Let's hope for a 9-8 overtime game!

I'd take a 2-0 or 3-0 win. Reimer getting back to back to back..you know what's, would be amazing!

Wilson has continued to put the same guy out for back-to-backs this season and hit hasn't gone well.

IMHO, Gus has sat long enough he needs a game to keep his confidence up. Then go right back with Reimer the next day regardless of how Gus plays.

Both goalies are going good lately, if it were up to me I'd try to at least get both a game in every once per every 3 or 4.

It would be so sweet if Reimer had a three "you-know-what's" in a row.

Yeah but then Gagner would be held pointless... Gagner gets mad when he's pointless... You don't want Gagner mad...

I just want the Leafs new found team defense to remain air tight.

The Oil have been hot, against strong teams, however; they are awful
on the road, and this should be a hard fought win.

9 days, might be different...

The Sun last week said this game was on LeafsTV...I guess not.

The PK was also trash that game. Every single Winnipeg goal was a PPG 0-3 on the PK

That game was a wake-up call though. After that, the Leafs held a players only meeting, and then at practice they spent the entire time working on defensive play and killing penalties. Since then, they haven't allowed a single PK goal. Amazing.

wasn't it 2/3 on the PK, i think the 2nd goal was Even Strength, a few seconds after the penalty expired
