Hard to tell. Maybe he's wearing shoes, standing on his toes, not standing straight etc. I didn't think he looked very tall at the WJC's either but like someone above said, it could have something to do with his body type.

Yeah true! I don't think that size will be issue for Lindholm even if he was 5'11. He is strong for his age and he has the ability to make plays even when there is defenseman on his skin. It won't be his strength either. It will be interesting to read those official combine measurements.

A little article on lindholm by expressen

Secret behind his balance on the ice is apparently juggling while riding a onewheeled bike

I am guessing he will end up being a similar size to Foppa who is only about 6'0, but with a very solid build.

That is awesome. NFL player AJ Green juggles on a unicycle and said it was great for developing hand-eye-coordination, too.

To hell with scouting junior hockey, the real future all stars are at the circus!

It's amazing to me that after all the respect he gets from guys like McKenzie and after all he's done in one of the best leagues as a draft eligible, people still have him drop out of the top 6 in their mock drafts. It's just dumbfounding. He's the next Nick Backstrom IMO.

Like the poster above me said, I think Lindholm's ceiling is higher.

I've been high on Lindholm for a little while now, and I think he should be in the same category as Drouin and Barkov (Right after Mackinnon).

I think the Backstrom comparison is decent, but he's a much more competitive, physical and gritty player than Nick. And thats no slight on Backstrom, but Lindholm's work ethic is 2nd to none in this draft. Not to mention Lindholm is a great 2 way forward.

Which is why my preferred comparison for Lindholm is Patrice Bergeron. Very similar players, especially in terms of hockey IQ on both ends, hustle/compete/work ethic, and gritty play despite not being the biggest guys out on the ice. Although Lindholm can certainly match Backstrom's offensive production too given the right wingers.

Yea theres been tests proving that juggling over time improves the frontal lobe activity increasing overall concentration. You have to wonder just how many athletes there are that does these little tricks

Nah, I'll stick with Bergeron. Giroux is a bit faster/more dynamic on offense, but definitely not as good in his own end.

Do the comparison like that and it does seem like Lindholm has a significant edge but few players has the ability to slow the game down and carry the puck like Backstrom. Defensively I think they're similar in level but different in style.

I think he will end up in Calgary. I think he could fit in there pretty good. He'll probably could put som pressure on Backlund to get better as well, a healty competition there.

I can only imagine the amazing plays that Baertschi and Lindholm could do

He is, but this draft has an insane amount of talent.

Who was the last forward that was this complete of a player in his draft year? That's sort of the sense I'm getting from Lindholm.

Barkov is without a doubt more complete player than Lindholm.
